adhammondParticipantI have installed Disqus, set up an account, activated it via the X-theme add-on menu (see img), entered in the correct shortcode name, enabled comments in settings > discussion (see img), blog post I enabled discussion (see img). Yet I don’t see the comment section. Please help!

This issue occurs because of some JavaScript error which stopping Disqus to be displayed.
Would you mind testing for a plugin conflict? You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

adhammondParticipantI deactivated all of the plugins except for X Disqus and it did not resolve the issue. :O

It will only work on published post, Example http://adhammond.com/2016/10/18/blastoff/. It was a draft and when published, Disqus section appears.
