I’m unable to update The Grid plugin on my account. It is still the version 1.6.0. I’ve updated to X Theme 4.6.2 and I was hoping to gain access to the skin builder mentioned in the Grid knowledge base article https://community.theme.co/kb/integrated-plugins-the-grid/

I see that the updated Grid 2.1.0 was supposed to be included in the X Theme 4.6.2 update on September 7th as mentioned in the changelog https://theme.co/changelog/

Do I need to register the Grid in order to gain access to the updated version?

Hello There,

Thanks for writing in! Updating the X to the latest version will not automatically update the other bundled plugins with it. You still have to go to the plugins section, look for the The Grid plugin and manual do the update. And another thing, you have to make sure that X theme is validated. You will need to have it validated in order for your installation to access our X plugins repository located in our server.

I would be happy to check personally your site if you could give me the login url, username and the password. To do this, you can make a reply with the following info:
– Link to your site

– WordPress Admin username / password
– FTP Hostname
– FTP Username
– FTP Password

Don’t forget to select Set as private reply. This ensures your information is only visible to our staff.

Please uninstall The Grid and then install again via Addons.
