    hello,

    for testing i was using my facebook app id. this worked fine. next to comment i have seen the moderation link and in the facebook moderation page there have been the comments.

    then i deleted my app id and created a new one with the customer account app id. this worked, but i do not see the moderation link, etc. (i was using the facebook admin account from the user).

    i have deactivated the x facebook comment plugin plus “delete the plugin”. still when i uploaded the plugin and activate it, i see still my las app id.

    how can i change this? i think there is something old somewhere in the database or elsewhere.

    Hi there,

    Are you using any caching plugins? if so you need to purge all your cache.

    Hi there,

    I checked and the App ID and App Secret is correctly matching to your provided App ID and Secret. Should it be different? If yes, then please provide the other set of App ID and Secret.

    For the meantime, make sure your facebook account is an admin of the App where the ID and Secret is taken.

    hello rad,

    thanks for checkin. i gave you the id/secret just in case you changed something. for my is okay to loose the actual facebook comments.

    want i wanted is to know: how can i delete the settings in the database? because it think there lies the problem.

    when i deativate and delete the plugin all in the wp plugin page and then install the plugin again, the settings are not empty, there are still the settings from last time before i delete the files. also i see the old comments even if i change the app id and secret. i want to start again here with the facebook plugin. 😉

    Hi there,

    Ah, you wish to reset the setting. Deactivating and deleting the plugin will not reset the data.

    You have to manually remove the App ID and Secret key on same setting section and save it. I went ahead and did it, those values aren’t there anymore.
