    Hi,

    When I updated my X – Email Forms (MailChimp) plugin to the latest version, it somehow added spam to my site. If you go to greenbabydeals.com, you can see at the bottom of every page (above the footer) there is a Mailchimp Join action (which I did not add and it’s not in my Cornerstone code). I cannot delete this, and if someone signs up there, it actually joins to another company which is not mine. When I deactivate the plug-in, it disappears. Can someone help? I’m starting to think the actual update was spammy (it updated a few weeks ago maybe?) and not through Themeco but I’m not sure how that all works. Many thanks!

    HI There,

    Would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look? To do this, you can make a post with the following info:

    – Link to your site
    – WordPress Admin username / password

    Hello There,

    Thanks for writing in! The form at the bottom of your page is a widget which has been added in the footer 2 widgets. I went ahead and removed it in Appearance > Wdigets. You should not be seeing the form now.

    Great, thanks so much! So, the fact that it was linking to a spam site is not something I should be concerned about…?

    Your site should be cleaned and protected because it may cause blacklisting from search engines and hostings. Contact an expert of web securities to secure your site because we would like to help you however it is beyond the scope of our support.
