    Hi,

I am using an X – Email Forms (MailChimp) form at the bottom here: http://kiermyer.com/new/closer-to-the-sun-landingpage/
and when I try to subscribe using an email address already subscribed I get this : “We’re sorry! Something went wrong. We were unable to add your email to the list. Please try again later.” is there a way to change that message?

    thanks

    Hi there,

    Thanks for posting in.

It’s Mailchimp default feature not to allow subscription of same emails. As for error message, it’s part of privacy and security feature. You don’t want an attacker guessing if certain emails exist on your mailing list. Though I guess there should be toggle options for that, I’ll forward that as feature requests.

    Thanks!

Thanks. It is misleading. It should say something like: “This email address is already subscribed.”
