MeetioParticipantHi!
I am trying to translate my X theme site with WPML. However, when I try to invite a translator to translate in WPML there is a only a very basic editor available under Page translation which doesn’t support any of Cornerstones tag.
How is WPML supported in Cornerstone? What is the best practice to work with WPML & Cornerstone? Is it at all possible to work with translations the way WPML intend? Where you can put “translations jobs”?September 2, 2016 at 11:18 am #1158626
Michiel dParticipantHi,
I am not affiliated with Theme.co or WPML but i also run WPML and have no issue’s. It must be said i did not invite an external translator, ymmv.
Did you ran Theme and plugins localization on Cornerstone?
/wp-admin/admin.php?page=sitepress-multilingual-cms%2Fmenu%2Ftheme-localization.php
“Select how to translate strings in the theme and plugins
If your theme and plugins include .mo files with translations, these translations will always be used. This option allows you to provide new and alternative translations for texts in the theme and in plugins using WPML’s String Translation.”
Hope this helps?
