    Hi,

Has anyone out there had trouble receiving email notifications from contact forms using the Xtheme?

Ive inserted the shortcode for the forms created in plugin: wpforms

Ive embedded it using the raw code function in Cornerstone
Yet I dont seem to be receiving the email notifications?

Ive set up my SMTP however with Xtheme would it be better to set up SMTP or PHP mailing?

Anyone out there had issues with this plugin too? WPforms
Or could someone recommend a good contact form plugin that styles well too with drop down menus etc.?

    Thanks a lot guys
    Would appreciate any help

    Hey there,

It sounds like you might be having an issue with a third party plugin or script. Regretfully, we cannot provide support for third party plugins or scripts as our support policy in the sidebar states due to the fact that there is simply no way to account for all of the potential variables at play when using another developer’s plugin or script. Because of this, any questions you have regarding setup, integration, or troubleshooting any piece of functionality that is not native to X will need to be directed to the original developer.

    Thank you for your understanding.

    Hi there,

If the email notifications are not receiving, most probably it could be due to a hosting related issue. Depending on spam or white-list settings on your mail servers, this could prevent you from receiving the emails. You can try using another email provider’s email account to see if you get the email notification (Eg: Gmail) and also check your SPAM folder in your email account.

Also you can setup a SMTP server to send your emails which you can do that using these plugins:
    https://wordpress.org/plugins/easy-wp-smtp/
    https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-mail-smtp/

    Hope that helps.
