    Hey Guys,
Congrats on the launch of Cornerstone, you have turned WordPress into a totally different front end experience!
On another note, Do I still need WPBakery Visual Composer as a plugin? Only I just updated and now its gone the way of many other popular plugins and is requiring a donation. I just would like to have made this choice rather than have it forced on me.
    Cheers
    David

    Hello David,

    Thanks for writing in!

If you were using Visual Composer to design and develop layout of the pages and have completely migrated those existing page to Cornerstone then you can remove Visual Composer from the website. If not we request you to kindly migrate existing pages designed using Visual Composer to Cornerstone.

    Thanks.

How do I know if I still need the visual composer. I’m not sure what pages or if I had any pages using it. Cornerstone really too the place of it is that correct? It’s annoying it’s a continual update so I was wondering if I should just delete it. You won’t be using it in future builds will you?

    Hi there,

Thanks for writing in! It’s totally up to you that which editor you will use to build and edit your pages. Cornerstone is native editor of X and it’s a required plugin to run X smoothly along with it’s powerful and user-friendly page building option. As it’s managed by Themeco and we are improving that continuously, we recommend to use Cornerstone. Demo pages are built with Cornerstone as well.

If you think you are not using Visual Composer to build any page, there is no point of keeping a plugin active. You can deactivate this and that will free up your site a bit.

    Cheers!
