Hello X,

I’ve recently updated to the latest version of the theme. I tried logging in 2 days ago to:
http://opticshock.antonpelayo.com/wp-admin/ and this error message comes up:

Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /hermes/bosnaweb12a/b1968/ipg.antonpelayocom/opticshock/wp-content/themes/x-child/functions.php:1) in /hermes/bosnaweb12a/b1968/ipg.antonpelayocom/opticshock/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 1174

I’ve disabled x-child in my themes folder and everything goes back to normal.

Development site: opticshock.antonpelayo.com
WP Version 4.6.1
X Theme 4.6.2
Cornerstone 1.3.2

not sure what happened, but need to fix this pronto.

Hi there,

I renamed the x-child theme to its original name.
The issue comes from functions.php file, I renamed to functions-1.php for now. Please remove codes one by one from child theme’s functions.php file until you find out which code is causing the issue.

Chris, I’m slightly confused.. sorry.

i am able to log in normally now, was it because you changed the functions.php from x-child to functions-1.php?

I assume i remove codes one by one from functions-1.php? if so how do i tell if it’s worked as I’m able to log in normally, not sure what to look out for?

Will the theme/website run normally now that the functions.php has been renamed?

So I’ve renamed it back to functions.php (in x-child)

And have erased the code line by line, but still wasn’t able to get to the wp-admin page…

I’ve also tried erasing all the text on it, but still won’t display the log in..

not sure what to do.

Hi Anton,

I have tried to login through FTP to check but I can’t seem to find the directory with the WordPress installation for http://opticshock.antonpelayo.com/. I went in to /home directory where there are WordPress files present but it doesn’t seem to the correct one since there is no X Theme installed.

Kindly double check and point us out to the correct directory so that we could check this further.

Hello on the root folder of the ftp, there’s a folder called opticshock. That’s where i host the wp site..

Hi,

I comment out the breadcrumbs function(line 48-225) in your child theme’s functions.php file and it let me go to wp-admin.

Please verify your code, make sure it’s correct.

I’ve looked at your code and everything works fine.

That code was to edit my search results bread crumb, I’ve edited it back in, log in seems to be working… is it safe to continue WITH my breadcrumbs php added in or shall i comment out for now?
