    Hi X theme.
    I want to update my WP version, but it says it need backed up first.
    Can you guide me to backup so I my x theme customization and all plugin doesnt gone.
    Should I backup with plugin or directly from C Panel?

    Hello Garry,

    Thanks for writing in!

    You can use backup plugin like Backupbuddy or BackUpWordPress. You can also use CPanel backup wizard to backup your entire WordPress setup.

    If I use CPanel backup. Do I need to backup the customizr x theme setting?
    Or it will backup all things?

    Hi there,

    Yes, you still need to export customizer settings under X Addons page.

    But all the plugin and the cornerstone setting will be backed up automatically by backup via CPanel right ?

    You need to backup database as well. Please check this plugin : https://wordpress.org/plugins/backupwordpress/

    Sorry for newbie question.
    If I use that plugin. Do I need to backup via cpanel again or it will backup all things I need.
    Because I dont understand what “database” you mean.

    According to plugin’s documentation which could be found in https://wordpress.org/plugins/backupwordpress/faq/, database will be backed up too.
