March 20, 2016 at 1:54 am #844874Just FYI @joerare… I’ve tried to replicate this problem, as I was subscribed to the thread and have had my share of Cornerstone breaking issues too! But, I wasn’t able to replicate it. So, it must not be making any change in the Yoast area. I’m happy to try some steps if you can give more detail.
(As an aside, I’ve even broken Cornerstone from within Cornerstone using the text/visual tabs for the text element… but I’m unable to replicate it anymore more, so maybe it’s something that got recently fixed. It’s getting more bulletproof for sure, but we’ve got to keep at it. 🙂 )
March 20, 2016 at 1:56 am #844875Sorry for being a bit unclear… by ‘it must not be making any change in the Yoast area’ I meant to say that it must be something more specific within the Yoast SEO area than just making any kind of change. I tried changing quite a few different items.
March 20, 2016 at 7:07 pm #845635Hey there,
Could you give us a screencast of the issue. I’m testing Yoast SEO on my test site and everything seems to work fine.
Thanks.

May 20, 2016 at 10:15 pm #1002531Hi there…Am I understanding this correctly- if I add Yoast and then change Yoast settings in the dashboard I will lose the Cornerstone design?

May 20, 2016 at 11:29 pm #1002602Hi Chris, you shouldn’t, though that seems to be what one person was reporting on the previous page. I wasn’t able to replicate it. I think Themeco support is looking for more info from that user.
May 21, 2016 at 6:23 am #1002845Hey @chris-anne,
As long as you did not switch the WP editor, editing Yoast SEO page settings won’t affect any of the Cornerstone data.
Please let us know how it goes.
May 27, 2016 at 7:42 am #1012871Just an update in case anyone else has the same concerns!
Yoast works perfectly for me as long as I leave the cornerstone tab chosen.
I can fill in the SEO details and it doesn’t affect my finished page.
Thank you!
