Hi,
as i am setting up my site i would like to know more about categories.there are categories in posts, portfolio and woocommerce. Beacuse of the nature of my site the categories would be the same. Will they appear multiple times( in search or browsers) or are they locked for that specific part of my site? woocommerce xcategories for woo, portfolio categories for portfolio items and posts categories are only displayed for posts then?
thank you for your help as really would’t want have a mess of my site.O man, i really must be half way to 2017 over here with all my typos 🙂 </b>

Thanks for writing in! The categories will not be appearing multiple times. By default, the category archive will be dedicated for the posts. Although you have the same category name for portfolio or products, this will not be displayed together with the post because it has a different group. WordPress category will be displayed with a slug of category. On the other hand, the portfolio and products will be displayed as portfolio-category and product-category respectively.
Hope this explains it briefly.
