I know you’ve seen this before, so have I, but this is a weird one.
I’ve had the site at http://www.ascendant-technologies.com in development for sometime and have had no problems with the admin bar at all. The site resides in a sub folder on the root and tonight I set it live. I haven’t moved the site, only the index.php into the root, a method that I use very regularly. However, as soon as the site went live, the admin bar disappeared. The only thing is that I upgraded X theme right before I sent it live and honestly didn’t notice if it had disappeared when I popped into the site to check was alright before I sent it live. However, I do usually notice if the admin bar disappears, especially, since I routinely click on the site name to switch between dashboard and site front end.
I was on 4.5.2 and upgraded to 4.6.

    Any ideas?

Apologies, missed the fact that I upgrade to the latest Cornerstone this evening too, but all was fine after that too.

Oh dear, that wasn’t what I meant. I meant that Cornerstone was fully up to date and things had been normal after the update. Then I published and lost the admin bar.

    Sorry for the confusion.

Having said that, without revisiting the site first – I’ve just done so and all is well. Very odd, I cleared the cache and everything before originally posting this. So, end of thread and apologies for taking your time for nothing. Perhaps the lesson here is, wait 24 hours, try again and then post!!!

No need for apology, please feel free to get in touch with us regarding any further queries about the X|Theme and Cornerstone.

    Thanks.
