bigboxheadParticipantHi,
I am trying to setup a store in woo commerce on my site strawberryandblue.com
The problem I am having is that the subcategories don’t display. What I mean is that I have a category setup men’s t-shirts. When you click into this none of the sub categories that I have created display on products in the sub categories.
I have changed the settings in woocomerce to display both the subcategories and products.
I have also reset the product counter in settings, clear the product cache.
Thanks in advance.

RadModeratorHi there,
Theme’s Woocommerce templates uses woocommerce_content(), it’s woocommerce standard function that displays content. But, the issue is that this function doesn’t work well with archive pages (eg. category). It’s Woocommerce limitation since X theme is only calling woocommerce_content().
You may want to check this http://code.tutsplus.com/tutorials/display-woocommerce-categories-subcategories-and-products-in-separate-lists–cms-25479
Thanks!

bigboxheadParticipantHi,
I tried to follow the page you sent me the link to but this is to complicated for me to follow. Is there an easier way to do this? Is this not something x would provide support for?
Thanks

bigboxheadParticipantYes I had all of the settings done correctly but it doesn’t resolve the problem. I have decided to structure my site differently now so it is to an issue for me now but I’m sure other users will have the same problem.
Thanks for the help!

ChristianModeratorHey there,
Glad you’ve settled with another solution.
What you’re trying to achieve is possible with custom development which falls outside the scope of our support. Back in reply #1130466, X uses
woocommerce_contentwhich provides basic WooCommerce support. You will need to change that with a more detailed function. You might want to contact our trusted partners who caters X setup and customization needs. Please see https://community.theme.co/custom-development/
Thank you for understanding.
