macknumParticipantHi,
I just activated woocommerce and suddenly my site takes more than a minute to load. Have you got any idea what this could cause?

macknumParticipantSorry, forgot the versions:
Wordpress: 4.6.1
Woocommerce: 2.6.7

RadModeratorHi there,
Would you mind providing your FTP login credentials?
I also installed a plugin that reads memory usage, it says
Memory: 45.53 of 256 MB (18%) | WP LIMIT: 40 MB | IP 127.0.0.56 (vwp8642) | PHP 5.6.27-he.0 @64BitOS Version 4.6.1No matter what I checked, it always stays around 45mb which means, the wp limit is just about 40mb. Would you mind contacting your hosting provider to see if they override this limit? With so many features, software, and features, 40mb isn’t enough. Woocommerce requires at least 64mb.
Thanks!

I’m not sure, it may vary depending on other tickets. Please open the account until we finish checking.
Thanks!

RahulModeratorHey There,
You can try adding this in your wp-config.php located at the root directory of your site to expand the memory limit.
define( 'WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '256M' ); define( 'WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT', '512M' );You can add it before the line
/* That’s all, stop editing! Happy blogging. */
Hope this explains it well.

macknumParticipantOk, I changed it but it is still very slow. I de-activated the woocommerce plug-in again but you can check by activating it. Without woocommerce activated we are close to light speed, with activated woocommerce it is about 30 seconds or more for a page-load

RadModeratorHi there,
I checked and it’s slow even without woocommerce, and woocommerce just made it worst. Though, when I disabled other Woocommerce plugins/addons (leaving the main woocommerce active). I noticed an improvement, it now faster on my end. Could you try it too?
Thanks!
