Hi people,

my wish is to replace the product image with the thumbnail from the gallery when clicked, on the single product pages.
I found a few related posts on the forum, but so far nothing did the job.

I know, that the “woocommerce-better-product-thumbnail” Plugin does exactly what I need, but unfortunately it can only show the enlarged thumbnail instead of the full size image.

Is there any code that fixes either the whole problem oder the bug within the plugin? (I know, its 3rd party, so none of your business, but in another thread you guys recommended this very plugin, so maybe you can easily fix this?)

Regretfully, at this time I am not entirely certain what it is you would like to accomplish based on the information given in your post. If you wouldn’t mind providing us with a little more clarification on what it is you’re wanting to do (a link to a similar example site would be very helpful, or perhaps some screenshots), we’ll be happy to provide you with a response once we have a better understanding of the situation.

Hi Thai,

on single product pages, the default setting is
– clicking the product image -> image opens in lightbox
– clicking thumbnail from gallery under product image -> image opens in lightbox

what i want, is:
– clicking the product image -> nothing happens, no link
– clicking thumbnail from gallery under product image -> image becomes product image, replaces the other image.

the 3rd party plugin provides exactly this function, regretfully it has a bug: instead of showing a full size image, it shows an enlarged thumbnail, which looks bad.

i would be happy if you could either provide the code for this function or maybe the code to fix the bug within the plugin.

Besides, same problem in this thread, but I couldnt figure out what to do with the code.

Thanks for writing in! It sounds like you might be having an issue with a third party plugin or script. Regretfully, we cannot provide support for third party plugins or scripts as our support policy in the sidebar states due to the fact that there is simply no way to account for all of the potential variables at play when using another developer’s plugin or script. Because of this, any questions you have regarding setup, integration, or troubleshooting any piece of functionality that is not native to X will need to be directed to the original developer.

Okay, how about i uninstall the plugin and ask you again if you could provide the code for what i want:

Unfortunately, that function doesn’t support by X.
