bigboxheadParticipantDear x theme specialists,
Woo commerce shop page, after editing the shop page in cornerstone the product categories thumbnails are under the sliders I inserted.
I would like some help with my site, http://www.strawberryandblue.com
I had the homepage set as the shop page in woo commerce
I wanted to add some stuff i.e. 1 slider and 1 email signup form.
I changed the shop page to another page so I could edit the page in cornerstone.
After I had finished adding the slider and email form (another slider) i turned the “shop” page back to the shop page in the woo commerce settings.
The problem I have now is that the product categories are under the sliders I added.
I have looked through the forum for someone with a similar problem but as unable to find a solution.
I would like to know what the best solution is to get the products back to the top of the page?
Thanks in Advance

RupokMemberHi Kerry,
You can’t edit the shop page like this since it uses special template of WooCommerce. If you add any content then it will show above the products as it’s predefined and content area is above this.
What you can do is create a normal page (not shop) and use woocommerce shortcodes to show products. Don’t assign this as Shop page but use this as shop page.
Thanks!

bigboxheadParticipantWhat shortcodes would i need to enter to have it appear on the “home” page as it does at the moment on the “shop” page.
I am having trouble finding information on caring product categories thumbnails
I have created a section with 4 columns, do i just make these columns text areas and add the shortcodes in cornerstone?

ChristopherModeratorHi there,
You can insert woocommerce shortcodes, please check this link : https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-shortcodes/
e.g :
[product_category category="appliances"]Hope it helps.
