Hi There,

I am currently having an issue with returning customers within the woocommerce section of my site.

Once a product is selected and added to cart, my customers have the option to fill out the customer form or if they are a returning customer “login” to complete the checkout.

The problem is that the login button doesn’t seem to be working (when I put in my details). I have also tried the forgotten password page for a work around but it again the button seems not to be working.

I have checked in developer mode in chrome and this error shows up, which to me looks like there is an error on the button somewhere/somehow

IC_SETUP_CONTAINER_ERROR: Can’t find element woo_pp_ec_button

Im at a loss on how to fix this, if you guys could point me in the right direction that would be awesome!

Hi there,

Would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look? To do this, you can make a post with the following info:

– Link to your site
– WordPress Admin username / password
– FTP credentials

Hey there,

For us to know if this is an issue with X, would you mind copying your live site to a staging or dev server and then switch to the default WordPress theme there? We need to test on the dev server so your live operation will not be disrupted.

If you can, try testing for a plugin conflict in the live site. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

Hi christian thanks for getting back to me,

I have tested the plugins by deactivating them but the login button still doesnt work.

I am not sure how to create a dev or staging site for you to test could you point me in the right direction.

Hi there,

You can do that with the help of All in one migration plugin.

1. Install the migration plugin at http://www.muckymonsterclub.com
2. Export your site as a file
3. Install a fresh WordPress in either subdomain or subfolder (eg. http://www.muckymonsterclub.com/dev/ or http://dev.muckymonsterclub.com )
4. Install the migration plugin to your dev site
5. Import your site that’s recently exported

Hi There,

I havnt managed to migrate to a dev site yet (im having trouble finding a good solution to back up as our site as its seems to be around 8gb large, does that seem to be too big?).

I have briefly swapped themes to the twenty fifteen and the problem with the returning customer still occurs, so I guess its not a problem with xtheme but with either woocommerce or maybe CSS, could you suggest where to start looking?

Since it still happens even in the default theme, it could be one of your plugins is causing it. It would be best to seek help from a WordPress developer to work closely with you.
