LoveBugParticipantHello! I hope I can explain this correctly. One of our sites, we received an email that someone else had registered as the admin. YIKES…..this prompted us to look at all the users, we found about 7. Mostly customers and then the one new admin. Do we have to have the allow others to register button on for our woo commerce? We had it that customers can make an account and view past orders, is this why they are showing up there?
I deleted the admin person that registered and changed the pass word to be on the safe side.
So appreciate your help on this one!

RadModeratorHi there,
Thanks for posting in.
Hmm, that means that default role is administrator when you enabled registration. It should be set to the subscriber as the default role.
I checked and it’s set to Customer, are you sure this role has no admin capability? I can’t confirm it since I can’t find how that Customer role was added.
Thanks!

LoveBugParticipantNo I am not sure, when people use eCommerce they set up an account, if they are a subscriber is that the same thing? Maybe when we had woo eCommerce that people can set up an account they added that option??
I don’t know either, just want to protect the client.
I have since changed it to customer from the admin. Can’t believe I missed doing that out the gate!

RadModeratorHi there,
I just checked and Customer is default role added by Woocommerce, it should be just okay instead of Subscriber. Are you still getting the same issue after setting it to Customer? If yes, please try the Subscriber role.
Thanks!
