AmeetaConsultingParticipantI have an old small business website that is live and cannot have much downtime.
I am now building a new replacement site using X, which I have just set up on a temporary domain.
Once the new site is built, I will want to put it on the business domain, erasing the old site.
Will I run into any license problems doing this with one X license? Will my new site transfer over from the temporary domain to the business domain?
What should I keep in mind when building the site (adding content, links, images, etc.) to make this process as simple as possible?September 2, 2016 at 9:55 pm #1159310
FriechModeratorHi There,
Thanks for writing in! You can follow the guide provided here: https://community.theme.co/kb/cornerstone-migration/ on how to properly migrate your site to a new domain.
Or if you’re not comfortable doing this you can hire a developer to migrate your site https://community.theme.co/custom-development/
You can assign and un-assign your license anytime you want, just keep in mind one license per site. Read more about that here: https://community.theme.co/kb/product-validation/
Hope it helps, Cheers!
