rmcgregor86ParticipantHi there,
I am looking to include bold and italic text in just one of my “text” widgets in my side bar. However, when I add the basic code that I know (<b> or <i>) it alters the text in all widgets and the footer, not just the one specific widget that I’d like it to.
Can you help?
Thanks,

RupokMemberHi there,
Thanks for writing back. I can’t see the code on your widgets so not sure what you are facing but make sure to close the tag. To make it bold you ca use
<strong></strong>tag.<strong>This is bold text</strong>And the better practice of making italic is :
<span style="font-style: italic;">This is italic text</span>Hope this helps.

rmcgregor86ParticipantThanks for your reply.
I certainly did close the tag, but without any luck.
The widgets are only on my BLOG page. You can see them there. The one I am trying to edit is titled “Editor”. I’d like my name in bold text, and the descriptor underneath in italics. But as I said, if I try to edit this and add the coding/tag, it simply edits all widget text as well as the footer.

Rue NelModeratorHello There,
I have checked your site and I found out that you have inserted several invalid html codes in your widget area. Please update the following:
<a href="http://asmamagrows.com/about/"><img src="http://asmamagrows.com/wp-content/uploads/rebeccamcgregor.png"></a> <center> <strong>Rebecca McGregor</strong> <em> Pregnancy + Postpartum Specialist </em><center>Please always make sure that your element tags is in lowercase format.

Hope this helps.
