    Hello,

    My theme is “Icon”

    When I activate my child theme, all defined widget disappears.

    How to keep my widget on the child theme ?

    Hey there,

    That is normal as switching themes (including the child theme) will put your widgets to the inactive widget area. Please go to Appearance > Widgets and move your widgets from the Inactive Widget area to your desired sidebar. Note that switching themes will also reset the menu so you have to set it up again. This is why it is a best practice to setup a child theme at the very beginning.
