Tricia120ParticipantHi there,
I am having trouble having a padlock show on my homepage because of an insecure link that’s somewhere in the x files. Here is a screenshot of my whynopadlock and the problematic link:

JadeModeratorHi Tricia,
Is is because the image is loaded over http and your website is set to https.
You can try to download the actual image and upload it in your site and set it back in the customizer as the page background.

Tricia120ParticipantRight so my main goal was to try and change this image from http to https. At first I tried a search and replace plugin to replace the link from http to https. That didn’t work though. So then I tried to download the image and upload it in my site by making it the page background image in the customizer as you suggested. But that doesn’t work because the image is 150px by 150px so the background image then appear stretched. It’s strange because when I inspect element it seems that the link has changes to https but I still don’t have a padlock so that can’t be the case.

John EzraMemberHi there,
Thanks for updating the thread! It may not be the only image that needs to be changed. There maybe other links that need to be switched from http to https. Once all are updated, the secure lock should appear. Let us know how that goes. Hope this helps – thanks!

Tricia120ParticipantHi,
Well I still haven’t been able to figure it out. I changed all my other ones from http to https so I know it’s just this one links since the padlock appears on all my other pages and because of the WhyNoPadlock result. I just really need to know how to update this x theme link.
Thanks,

RupokMemberHi Tricia,
Thanks for updating. Go to Customize > Layout and Design > Background Options and set image for Background Pattern and Background Image and save. The you can remove the images and save changes again. This will reset the demo background that was set during demo import.
Hope this makes sense.
