Hi,

I am adding html to a page via a visual composer text element at http://command-shift.com/callinex/corporate-overview/

The html is calling the css from http://command-shift.com/callinex/css/style.css but the VC text element is stripping away the header info.

Where can i add the css so that it will work with the html?

Have you tried the Custom tab within the Customizer? If you make some CSS changes and they are still being overridden don’t forget to use !important to make sure it takes.

Hi there,

As mentioned above, please try adding your CSS rule into your Customizer’s Custom > CSS area which is under Appearance -> Customize.

Hi There,

Not sure what you mean by your question. Would you mind clarifying it.

In customizer > Custom > CSS, you can directly add the CSS code.

Hi..

i am attaching the css file to this post.

It is quite large… is this amount of css ok to dd through the customizer?

All of the other css i have added have been quite small in comparison

Hi Brent,

The customizer could handle that amount of CSS in your file. You just have to make sure that your code is readable as it gets longer so that it will be easier for you to maintain despite the length.

If you write the code in the customizer, you should be able to have them in a clean format but if you have codes not formatted written elsewhere and you want to keep then clean, you can have your code formatted using some sites like http://www.cleancss.com/css-beautify/.
