    Hi,

    I have the latest WordPress and the latest X Theme installed. When I try and Activate the included ConvertPlug plug-in, I am receiving this error:

    ——
    Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_PAAMAYIM_NEKUDOTAYIM in /home/content/a/n/g/angelrob/html/wp-content/plugins/convertplug/framework/Smile_Framework.php on line 78
    ——-

    Can you help?

    Hi There,

    Thanks for writing in. That error shows when you have a lower version of PHP than the required. ConvertPlug recommend configuration as below for using ConvertPlug, which is very general on most of the hosts and recommended by WordPress itself.

    Server
    – PHP – 5.6+
    – cURL Module – Enabled
    – PHP Memory – 256 MB+

    WordPress
    – Latest available version of WordPress
    – WordPress Memory – 256 MB+ set in “wp-config.php”

    You can contact your hosting support to assist you on this matter.
