I have been reading all the help threads for hours about using the portfolio. I really have been trying not to bother you with questions. But I have hit the wall.
I am a creative designer that needs to exhibit my work from TV and film to branding to print and a few campaign case studies.
1. I can not figure out how to remove the black container from behind my TV sample. http://www.creative-sunshine-inc.com/index.php/portfolio-creative-sunshine/campingworld/
2. I would like to customize my portfolio page so that is have up to 3 samples.
3. How do make a print sample be able to expand?

Would it be better to create pages that have my samples on it without using a portfolio?

#1. Let’s disable container for your embedded video element – http://prntscr.com/bdak0x

#2. You can add more embedded video element to the portfolio content. What you are facing to do so?

#3. I am not sure what you are referring by “How do make a print sample be able to expand?”. Would you clarify a bit?

#4. Your images are huge because they are huge in height. So when it becomes full width, it looks huge. You should use proper dimension with less height and more width to get a better view.

Thank you for your time:) I really am doing my best to figure it all out myself.
The main issue is that I want to be able to arrange the items in my portfolio pages.

1. I put the http://prntscr.com/bdak0x code into the custom CSS and it did not remove the container.

2. I want to make image of an image- when clicked on- to get larger. I tried using the ilightbox codes and I can not get it to work.http://theme.co/x/demo/integrity/1/shortcodes/responsive-lightbox/#

3.I also do not want the info about my name and date altered on the page.

Where should I go to rearrange the layout of the pages?
Do I create a “child” theme? I am afraid of this because I don’t want to delete what I have done.

Regretfully, at this time I am not entirely certain what it is you would like to accomplish based on the information given in your post. If you wouldn’t mind providing us with a little more clarification on what it is you’re wanting to do (a link to a similar example site would be very helpful, or perhaps some design mock-up), we’ll be happy to provide you with a response once we have a better understanding of the situation.

I am sorry that I am not communicating my issue clearly.

I want to change the layout of a portfolio page.
I hate that there is a large slider image and other items are below. I did 48 revisions on this portfolio page and can not get it right.

I also don’t like the case studies black bar title and layout of the “case studies” page.

One more question:
For video- should I load a mp4 to my media library or embed my vimeo code.

Hi Susan,

Do you wanna get rid of the slider in the post pages? If so, you can add this CSS in the customizer:

.single .has-post-thumbnail .entry-featured {
    display: none;
}

What kind of layout do you want for the case studies page? Kindly specify so that we could try to help you out and kindly also clarify which black bar you are referring to.
