    Hello,

I have tried several times to import the expanded church demo onto my site with no success whatsoever. I have had all of my memory settings increased, cache cleared, PHP settings wp-config settings updated and checked, all configurations have been checked and deemed fully functional and operating correctly. The theme has also been uninstalled and reinstalled a couple of times BUT NONE of the expanded demos will import. I continue to receive this message:

“We’re sorry the demo failed to finish importing” and it goes back to the Addons screen.

I have no issues importing the standard demos at all, ONLY the expanded. GoDaddy stated that they do not see anything on their end that will cause this issue because everything checks out perfectly fine. I don’t know what else to do. Please take a look into this issue and resolve or advise what needs or can be done at this point. All of my credentials will be posted in the following thread.

    Hi there,

I’m sorry you have issue. Please disable cache plugin and follow this KB article https://community.theme.co/kb/demo-content/ to clear cache and allow the importer to run fresh again.

If you need further assist, please provide us with login credentials and confirm if we have permission to try to set it up for you.

    Thanks.

    Hi there,

I don’t think it can be disabled easily, it’s Godaddy’s cache feature and it’s added on very WordPress site hosted on them. You may contact them on this matter.

All demo settings are stored on transients (internal cache). The fact that some demo import works and some don’t, confirms that there is no problem with connectivity or authentication between your site and our server. It’s just that data are cached and processed incorrectly, leading to “Invalid demo name”.

You can try installing a dummy site on your local machine and import demo there. Then migrate it to your Godaddy site.

    Thanks.
