Would you mind help me?

mellynaParticipantHi
I have already followed the instructions of the “troubleshooting part”. As I said in my first post, I have already increased the memory limit, desactivated the plugins and cleared the cache. I also checked the php version : it’s ok i have the 5.6 version
But the problem remains. Please tell me how to solve it.
Thank youDecember 7, 2016 at 12:47 am #1284145
FriechModeratorHi There,
Thanks for the credentials, please contact your hosting support and confirm the following.
– Ensure my site can reach this domain: community.theme.co – Ensure cURL is working, and allow_url_fopen is enabled. – Ensure PHP is configured with the latest CA Root Certificates.Especially the PHP cURL as that is the common one that cause this issue.
Let us know how it goes.
Cheers!

mellynaParticipantHi
My hosting support has just answered me. The 2 first points were Ok, and they asked me to update php to 7.0
That’s what I did but the problem remains.
Also, I notice that I cannot update any image in the media library anymore. I got an error message. Is it possible that the demo content import is blocked when getting to the images import step?
Please check and tell me how to do/

RadModeratorHi there,
I checked the error log and the import process has no problem, but it fails when it tries to import the slider. There could be a fatal error not visible through ajax responses.
Would you mind providing your FTP login credentials as well?
Thanks!

RadModeratorHi there,
I see, then your host isn’t capable of tracing them. Tyr uploading an image in your media library while your browser developer tool’s console/network is open and the error will be shown. It will not be displayed when you access it directly on your browser since it’s requested through ajax and processed internally.
I noticed that you’re filling up your site with content and design, should I continue testing the import? Please create a new separate installation and staging for demo import testing.
Thanks!

mellynaParticipantHi
It’s neither a hosting problem nor a browser one. I noticed that everything is fine when I run X theme or twenty fifteen, but when I activate X Child theme, the problems begin : I cannot upload any media and I cannot access the library. Can you fix this problem, you have all my credentials.Meanwhile please stop any import of demo.
Thanks

Nabeel AModeratorHi again,
Try installing a fresh copy of Child Theme, make sure to backup your Child Theme if you have any template modification. If this works then you can review your changes and remove the customization that is braking the theme.
If you don’t have any customization in the child theme then you can just install the fresh copy of child theme.
Let us know how this goes!
