karaokeloveParticipantHi, I’m having an issue with my page at https://streamauthority.com/. If you scroll to the bottom, it quickly loads and deletes an extra “bar” of space, causing the screen to stutter violently. This doesn’t seem to occur on any of my other pages. I’ve tried changing stacks and layouts, but nothing seems to fix it. Any advice? Thanks!

karaokeloveParticipantI should mention, it’s only when I scroll down with the scroll wheel. It used to keep doing it as long as you kept scrolling, but now it will do it when you hit the bottom and then stop, but if you scroll up and back down, it will do it again.

JadeModeratorHi there,
You could try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
Let us know how it goes.

karaokeloveParticipantHmm, it seems to be a problem with Essential Grid.

RadModeratorHi there,
Since the essential grid is on the process of loading and animating then it may stutter while you scroll it. It’s like adding height to the content while you’re scrolling. It’s only natural.
Thanks!

karaokeloveParticipantI have it active on other pages with no problems, though. This is only my home page at https://streamauthority.com. And it’s not actually Essential Grid that’s stuttering, it’s causing the whole page to stutter by generating some type of blank content below my footer and then deleting it.

JadeModeratorHi there,
Are you still having the issue? I have just tried checking your site and it seems to be working normal now when I used the mouse wheel. See screencast below.

karaokeloveParticipantYes, it’s still acting up. I managed to take a screenshot of it happening: https://www.dropbox.com/s/og9dw02s0492j5q/Screenshot%202016-06-09%2013.51.27.png?dl=0
You can see the grey bar at the bottom between my footer and task bar.

John EzraMemberHi there,
Thanks for updating the thread! That’s weird, I can’t get it to show up on my end either. How were you able to replicate it? What browsers versions are you using? Let us know thanks!
June 9, 2016 at 6:09 pm #1034797
karaokeloveParticipantI’m on Chrome. It doesn’t matter if I’m logged in or out, or even if I’m in the Cornerstone editor.

RadModeratorHi there,
Would you mind providing a screen video recording instead of an image? I like to see what you’re getting.
Thanks!

RadModeratorHi there,
Ah, it’s normal since you’re scrolling it fast. It’s switching from static to fixed positioning, that creates a jumping effect since you’re scrolling it fast before it can even calculate the positioning of fixed navbar. There is no animation that makes the transition smoother. It just switches from one to another.
Thanks!
