draper3000ParticipantI’ve just updated X theme …
My site which is normally running perfectly has lost all of its layout feautures..
Before the update (I’d recently updated WordPress and I could’nt access the elements in Cornerstone so was unable to edit or make new Cornerstone based content).
I have a backup I can revert to but would much rather keep the site up todate?
I’ve tried deactivating all plugins bar Cornerstone and the site was still broken.
I’ve been refreshing my browse cash, and CDN at each stage to check what was making a difference.
Please help quickly otherwise I’ll be forced to reset the site back to a safe working version.

draper3000ParticipantWordPress version: 4.5.2
X version:4.4.2
Cornerstone plugin version:1.2.4If possible I’d rather not have to share my login details.

RupokMemberHi Jon,
As you have reverted so can’t check the issue anymore. You can setup a staging site with the current content and update there. So after solving the issue you can proceed to live site.
Cheers!

draper3000ParticipantAre you able to tell if I need to do this:
Update the child theme…?
https://community.theme.co/forums/topic/child-theme-updates/
Could that be the reason for the site going all sorts of wrong with the latest X theme update?

JoaoModeratorHi Jon,
If you´re website looked totally broken, this is probably the issue, there was some changes on the child theme after X 4.32 so if you were running 4.4.2 with older child theme your website was probably looking very very broken.
Update your theme again and update your child theme and everything should look back as it should be.
Hope that helps,
Joao

draper3000ParticipantHi
So the X theme and child theme and cornerstone are all fully uptodate…
Now when I go in to use cornerstone none of the extensions are visible.. I can no longer edit my homepage etc…
I wanted to go into and update my contacts page which I cannot as it’s built with cornerstone.
Help would be much appreciated.
Login detail visible above, thank you,
