You’re most welcome, mcrochet! Thank you very much for the kind words and sharing your site. The icons in the navigation are a nice touch and positioning it at the bottom of the page on load looks great (and it loads blazing fast)! We look forward to continuing to work with you, and a big thanks ahead of time for the repeat business as this allows us to continue to develop and support the growing X ecosystem 🙂

First things first. Best. Gravatar. Ever.

The site has a very nice, clean, and professional look to it (and incredibly zippy).

I did notice one small thing. When on a blog post, the menu navigation items are not working, so make sure you set the appropriate URL path. If you want to link to a content band from another page, you have to actually input a whole link, not just the anchor. You may still be working on that but just wanted to pass it along in case.

    Hey! 🙂

I started with Xtheme like 3 months ago ! A big trip for me… Learned a lot, still learning A LOT! Managed, with the precious and excellent support team, to create an incredible blog (my opinion Haha!). A month ago, it was the official opening but with time it still need some tweaking and improvement! It’s getting better and better, so if you have a chance, take a look at this new blog from Montreal !

    LeLoft.TV, French w/ an English side !

    Thanks 🙂

    Hi Alexa,

Very creative site you have going there! I’m glad to know our incredible team was able to help you learn and keep learning…they are the best in the industry (although I am a little biased).

The icons in the navigation weren’t showing for me, so I would take a look into that. You’ve done a great job with customizing the template to add a personal and creative flair. It feels like a modern and bespoke design. Nice job!

I guess the icons are because I just updated my theme, I need to change them manually I guess like the walkthrough in the changelog?

Thanks for the comment! I’ve been trying a lot to make it different from template! X really push the WP possibility further! And again, the support team is awesome. Will definitely buy a second license real soon, I got myself a ”client” after showing my website!

Correct, the navigation link icons were a specific use case for this particular update that couldn’t be automatically handled.

Congrats on the client! We look forward to working with you and all of your future clients with X and Cornerstone and glad to know your beautiful X site earned you more than just a pretty site…a business!

Here is the latest website that I designed for my management consulting business, utilizing the X-Theme: http://www.sherlockzen.com.

I designed the website, wrote everything, chose the images, and then had the coders at Acodez transform the pages that I had created, in Quark, into an actual website. I am not a professional designeer, but a mere amateur who enjoys this sort of thing. I sought to couple my company’s sales message with visual appeal and even some humor.

I would appreciate your thoughts on how my website might be improved or any other reflections that you have on utilizing the potential features of the X-Theme, to the max.

    Thank you,

    Mark

    Hi

I created my new products prototype using the X template in under a week by just modifying 3 php files (with the help of a child template) and adding less than 300 lines of CSS.

    Thanks & Cheers!

A well spent Sunday, playing around with the new 4.0 and Cornerstone.
Took some getting used to, but with Icon 7 as basis, I’ve managed to redesign my homepage: http://leonieke.eu

Cannot wait to test and try more!

Hi Mark – Thanks for sharing your site. I think I would continue to focus on some of the formatting and color options. For instance, some of the text on a content band with a photo as the background is hard to read (consider adding a colored overlay with some opacity or shadow to the text). Personally, the Smooth Scroll is not my favorite, so if you don’t expect the majority of your visitors to be on devices that maximize the effect of the feature, I’d consider turning it off. Beyond that, I would look into formatting the images to be the same size and trying to cut down a bit on the text on the page (feels a bit text heavy at the moment). Hope that helps, and thanks again for sharing your work!

Looking good, Angel! Has a nice Integrity 01 feel to it customized to the client at hand. Many thanks for the repeat business. We look forward to continuing to work with you on this and more client sites in the future.

Howdy, Sid! Happy to hear that, my friend. It’s nice to know you were able to bend X to your will so quickly and easily 🙂 Nice idea for a website as well!

Hi Roby – Looks clean, simple, and professional. Glad you were able to use our new update to so quickly get everything together.

Hi leonieke – Thrilled to hear that…I think you’ll really enjoy further testing with Cornerstone. There is a lot built into that new tool with even more fun stuff on the way!

Surprised myself by using a template to make my web portfolio, but thought that it turned out really well so far! Really like the templating that theme x provides and the documentation. It has inspired me to redo my own template for work!
