Looking great, guys!
April 13, 2015 at 1:32 pm #248658Here’s a new one, an e-commerce site for cool stuff from Kentucky:
cheers!
April 13, 2015 at 8:37 pm #248874Howdy Bill,
Kentucky looks like it has some cool stuff! One small suggestion would be to format the viewing area of the Recent Posts featured images to be the same size so they look more even/like a grid.
Thanks for sharing the latest site and for your repeat business…looking forward to seeing the next ones!
April 14, 2015 at 9:23 pm #249824My contribution to the thread, still a work in progress but getting there…
April 15, 2015 at 3:20 am #250002We finished converting our site from Squarespace and it has been improved unbelievably!
Still a lot of tweaking to be done and content to be added, but we are super happy with the first pass.

April 16, 2015 at 3:22 am #251124Hi Basil – Welcome from Squarespace 🙂 Quite the creative site you have going on there!
Hi Jamographer – Thanks for sharing your latest X-powered site and for the repeat business!
Hi Duran868 – Glad to know X has been able to help your non-profit. I did notice on the Events page there seems to be a little but with whatever tool you are using to display the events as it was covered up by the menu. It’s also nice to seem some Icon examples with that fixed sidebar active…don’t see that in the real world as much as I would have expected. Just a small user experience note, those floating social icons are a bit distracting as they constantly animate into the screen. It’s certainly understandable if promoting the social channels is a primary focus you just want to be sure you’re not actually doing so at the expense of the user experience of the site.
As always, thanks for sharing guys, and keep ’em coming!
April 16, 2015 at 2:25 pm #251520Hi Folks,
Here is a couple I have done which can be added to the list. More on the way..
This one is quite high on customization, to get it working well on all platforms was a challenge. http://thebeach.retrofeasts.com/
This one is more natural to the Xtheme but is a good example of how to work the Revolution Slider. http://sos.marketing/
Enjoy! 🙂
April 16, 2015 at 3:39 pm #251580Love the creativity and range of those examples, Freddie! So many nice touches on the restaurant one like the lightbulb turning on when you hover over the menu items…just awesome! The SOS site looks great as well with the beautifully designed and well-placed graphics.

Also, I LOVE X Theme! Fan for life <3
April 17, 2015 at 8:21 am #252109Thanks Kyle, it has been a labour of love. I only started doing web design a couple of years ago after having stumbled upon X-theme which blew me away and inspired me to learn more. My work is primarily within the hospitality sector, I have been trying to integrate The Events Calendar Pro by Modern Tribe using the facebook plugin but have been facing extreme difficulties. I would love it if you could integrate with an events plugin extension along these lines as it would help me to win so much more work. Please do bear this request in mind 🙂
April 18, 2015 at 1:15 pm #252885Very cool, Sam! Looks like you’ve got quite the travel plans, and a nice, clean look to the site!
You’re welcome, Freddie! There are no immediate plans for integration with an Events Calendar tool, however as soon as our 4.0 release is out we will begin working through several other planned initiatives, and we’ll keep this in mind!
April 20, 2015 at 10:47 am #254043Hey guys – this is my latest X powered website…
I’d originally built this website some years ago pre-‘X’, but that framework had some limitations for what I wanted to achieve.
April 20, 2015 at 10:54 am #254050Stunning, Janine! I would expect nothing less 🙂
