Hi all,
Just came across your posting here for showing our sites. I only have my Home Page up so far, but I would welcome you all to take a look see and give any feedback, constructive criticizm or comments. Take note, a lot of the links aren’t working yet, as the other pages aren’t up yet. Keep up the good work!advantageintermedia.com

Cheers!
February 12, 2015 at 10:06 am #205031This is my first website made with X 🙂
February 12, 2015 at 10:17 am #205038Looking great, Fabian!
February 12, 2015 at 4:23 pm #205354Nice looking site, jmgraphicdesign1!
If you don’t mind me asking, you’re using the Icon stack, right? How did you get your portfolio page to look like that? When I tried to set one up, also with Icon, it looked much different. There were no titles on any of my portfolio items, and the “Sort Portfolio” button was just a plus (+) icon in the top-right corner. Did your portfolio require a bunch of custom work, or am I missing an obvious setting, somewhere?
February 12, 2015 at 11:01 pm #205594great work mike! Question….how did you get the navigation menu to center vertically?
February 13, 2015 at 2:09 am #205700Hi,
I have used X to run new version of my personal weblog; It is an RTL weblog so has many RTL features and customizations which are provided only by X team support 🙂 Thank you very much!
February 13, 2015 at 11:06 am #205953We started http://Heartsomeone.com and X theme is deeply integrated in our design!
if anyone need to know the plugins we used, let me know!February 13, 2015 at 12:33 pm #205999Thanks for sharing, Omid & Assad!
It is nice to see some more RTL examples in other languages.
February 14, 2015 at 11:43 am #206650well, I’ve been working on working on this site for a while…
X theme has been incredible. Support is fast and friendly, and has been very helpful. I wish I had coding and design experience, but even without all that, I was able to make a website that i’m actually pretty proud of.
I’m open to all suggestions if you guys have any. This site has been live for almost a week…so i’m sure their are lots of improvements and integrations i’ll be working on…
Things I want to integrate: (if you know of a good plugin let me know!)
1. Event Calendar
2. A floating notification blurb that features our latest blog post (or a featured one)Here is the site! http://www.austinstoneworship.com
February 14, 2015 at 10:03 pm #206819Pretty cool seeing what some people have been able to do with the theme. I have been quite happy with the look and feel, along with functionality of X
I have been working on my site for a few months now. It is focused on home automation, right now we are concentrating on content but it will be open up with a shop hopefully by the end of the year if I can figure out all this SEO stuff. Anyways take a look.
If anyone has any suggestions good or bad I am all ears. Looking for all the feedbback I can get.
February 15, 2015 at 7:43 pm #207238Hi Philip – WHOA! Absolutely incredible, my friend! From the layout to the photography to the content, you’ve done a phenomenal job! I don’t have any specific recommendations related to Events, however the Content Dock might be a good native option for showcasing a featured post or blurb. We’ve also kicked around the idea of creating a HelloBar like Extension for notifications as well (not in the immediate pipeline currently) but something we are looking into. In the meantime, the actual HelloBar might be a good option if something like Content Dock didn’t work.
Fight the good fight, brother!
Hi Deshlock – It is great to finally get something live, so kuddos for that important first step. I think the main thing missing as I see it now would be some sort of homepage that explain who you are, what you’re about, etc then links off to the different sections of your site. Take Philip’s example directly above. They do a great job introducing you to the idea of who they are in a very visually engaging way and linking out to the appropriate pages to learn more about the different aspects. I think once you have a centralized homepage and think through the organizational structure of the content as it relates to that home, everything else will start falling in line from there.
February 16, 2015 at 2:25 am #207388Loving the Ethos theme on my new site thus far:
zombieum.com <-(not quite sure how to make this a link on here!)
I wanted to go with a different approach to marketing with this website – through the use of a fiction. Since my website focuses on zombie survival gear, I wanted to write as if I am the survivor of a zombie apocalypse. This has made creating the website so much more fun and creative.
Super glad I decided to get a second license of this amazing theme!
February 16, 2015 at 9:28 am #207689Hi Tsavo,
That first line cracked me up “I wanted to go with a different approach…through the use of a fiction.” At first pass, I thought hmmm…all sites could be marketed better if they were based in fiction 🙂
But after seeing the site, I understand now what you mean and it is a creative angle. I’m sure it does give a whole new layer of creativity to the content coming from the perspective of an alternate reality. Thanks for sharing and for the kind words! We look forward to continuing to work with you on the future sites…if we all survive.
February 16, 2015 at 12:18 pm #207830emosamurai – I added this into the custom css.
.x-navbar, .x-navbar-fixed-top{ height: 70px;}
I hope this helps.
