Jeff,
If you have any technical questions, feel free to open a new thread, and one of our developers will be happy to help you out. Alternatively, you can reach out directly to Adam as he was kind enough to make that gesture. We’d like to keep this thread related to showcases specifically.
Many thanks,
KyleMarch 3, 2014 at 6:40 pm #19908Hi there Adam G,
I would be interested in taking you up on your offer for free site analysis and optimisation advice.
Here is my site URL: http://inspiredgifts.net
Thanks for your kind offer. This is not an area of expertise for myself, so this is a very welcome opportunity.
Athy.

March 4, 2014 at 3:13 am #19945Here it is… still working on it!
March 4, 2014 at 11:09 pm #20270Neus: Nice! I like the slider with the grey icons up the top, how did you achieve that?
March 5, 2014 at 6:06 am #20367Hi all,
Purchased the theme and the end product is here: http://www.sponsormyarticles.com
We kept our design very simple and used most of the defaults.
The theme is very powerful and flexible but I think it may be a bit difficult to use for newbies to use especially the importing processes of the Visual Composer settings etc.
Does anyone know where I may be able to find some Rev Slider templates?
March 5, 2014 at 8:17 am #20412Hi X Themers, we have some major overhaul of our existing website we developed with X, since the update we had some issues with our website so we have done the one pager thing now with room to grow.
Check out the improved design at a2bdesigners.com let us know your thoughts, and if you spot any bugs in your browsers let us know.

Here’s my site: http://MovieMomma.com

March 5, 2014 at 4:31 pm #20615Heather, you website looks really nice. Did it take you long to create the website?
March 5, 2014 at 4:50 pm #20619Hi Adam, the website loads fine on chrome.
What were some of the issue that you had with the previous version.
March 6, 2014 at 2:59 pm #20942Neus – Very nice work! Has a nice clean feel to it.
Heather – Love the idea behind your site, and especially the top part of the site. Very creative and engaging. My only feedback would be a little fine tuning of a couple of the elements as you go farther down the page (centering icons/text when you have the three columns with Record, Send, Be Happy, then just centering a couple of the buttons that are off just a bit and a few other spacial things like that). Very creative idea though and wonderful content! Keep up the great work!
March 7, 2014 at 12:56 am #21109X is just what I’ve been looking for! My blog has been looking rather shabby, so I’ve been on the hunt for a new theme for months now. Then I found X.
I’ve barely scratched the surface of what it’s capable of, but I’m quite happy with my blog now after spending a couple of days setting up the theme.
March 7, 2014 at 2:25 am #21153Hi Sponsormy,
The issues were not presented by the X Theme itself when updating, but rather the optimisation techniques and tweaking to some files that caused an issue when we upgraded the framework.
The X theme is a very stable format, but us being web designers and SEO Specialists have caused us to be speed freaks….lol, so much so we tweak the hell out of X to get the best speeds possible worldwide.
Eg: London speedcentre check are 1.32 seconds for a 1.5mb homepage.
Texas speedcentre check are 1.54 seconds for a 1.5mb homepageX Theme is one of the most flexible themes we have come across, but as being who we are we like tweaking.

AdamMarch 7, 2014 at 7:47 am #21243Hi Adam G,
Thanks for the update. I noticed that you’ve moved away from using the 1 pager. Does that mean you’ve fixed the tweaking issues?
I find that your welcome message at the top of the homepage is a bit hard to read and doesn’t complement the other images and design of the page. Just my feedback.
I agree X Theme is one of the most flexible themes out there and there’s so many examples sites the team have created for everyone to use.
I noticed that you’re using CloudFlare on your website and are caching the content. Are you trying to optimise the speed your homepage loads?
March 7, 2014 at 9:15 am #21294Hi Sponsormy,
Yes we eradicated some of issues we were having and have now gone back to normal site, hit another snag now though JQuery for portfolio filter we have noticed not working Dammm It.
You got an example of an image you would like to see at the top of the page, wont take us five minutes to create one, tell a lie might be a tad longer than five mins.
As for optimisation Cloudflare is something we use across all our website and client websites, rather good if you get the settings right.
Regards
