Well arennda, I take the LAMBORGHINI AVENTADOR then. Please deliver to my door 🙂 Awesome site!

    Myself:

Hi Maulana – Looking good! We certainly appreciate the repeat business – and thank-you to all who purchase additional copies for future projects as that is what allows us to continue to develop X, add new features, and provide the best support in the industry 🙂

Hi Arrenda – Very elegant and classy! I’m with Florian…the Lambo sounds good 🙂

Hi Florian – That is so great to hear, and we are thrilled to know X has allowed you to do that. If you felt so inclined and have a second, I know other prospective customers would love to hear that if you wanted to leave a quick comment here.

    Cheers!

Hey guys, great thread and awesome to find inspiration for new ideas.

I’m working on pushing X to the limits and we are using it to create many new sites.

For now I will just show mine which is not so much about the design but more how we launched the site in under 6 hours.

X really is a great option for developers and business owners that need to get infront of the public.

I would love to get some comments on the site – good or bad. I am relatively new to webdesign, but i would love to get better. I love the theme.

Hi Steve – 6 hours may be a record 🙂 We had someone earlier on in this thread mention they completed their site over one night I believe, but I think you may have them beat. Thank-you for the kind words. We look forward to continuing to work with you and thank you for the repeat business!

Hi Florian – Classy and elegant. Wonderful job…the content looks great!

Hi Bo – I can see you basically replicated the Integrity 01 demo almost 1:1 as in Steve’s example above. This has been a very popular deme for us and our customers, so you’ve done a great job taking that proven layout and making it your own.

There were so many layouts and options that X came with, it was hard to decide how I wanted this website to look and function, but I ended up deciding on a one-page website with scrolling navigation. It was very easy to configure the page.

    Website: http://tweetlooper.com
    Theme: X
    Stack: Renew

Description: Tweet Looper does a very simple task, extremely well! Tweet Looper automatically posts tweets from a text file to any Twitter account at random times you set. In a nutshell, all you have to do is enter your Twitter username and password, choose a text file with the tweets you want to post, enter the minimum and maximum time between tweets, click run and you’re done!

Tweet Looper will continuously post a random tweet between the two time intervals you set!

    Hi William,

It’s nice to see some more sales page ideas in the Showcase thread, so thanks for sharing. There is also a very subtle yet powerful thing you did to your blog that is worth mentioning. Instead of just calling it “Blog” or “News” you instead called it “Twitter Marketing Blog” which quickly summarizes the type of content people can expect to get. These simple 3 words can instantly separate you from the pack by clearly demonstrating what your blog is about and giving you a platform to stand on (writers block is a little easier to deal with when you know your topic and target audience and is not just general purpose).

    Some other examples would be:

    1) If you run a health and fitness sites – 6 Pack Abs Blog
    2) If you run a nutrition site – Gluten Recipe Blog
    3) If you run a financial site – Covered Calls Blog
    4) If you run a marketing site – Landing Pages Blog

This is a wonderful strategy to employ on your blog and something I would definitely recommend others play around with as it relates to overall blog strategy. Keep in mind that the Blog title is also typically what Google shows as the title of that page (unless you set it otherwise). This is yet again another reason to give it a descriptive name so as to attract visitors.

Which would you rather click: “My Fitness Site Blog” or “6 Pack Abs Blog”

I draw inspiration, ideas, and motivation from seeing everybody’s works on here. I love seeing all the sites!!

Here is mine http://piezowaveusa.com – They’re in love with it and were quite thankful to see I pulled off (I think I pulled it off haha) their color scheme.

I wish they would have had dug a little deeper into their wallet so I could perfect this site. It does OK in search, looks pretty good, and they are happy so.. I guess it’s a success. =]

It does need speed upgrades, and a few other things for sure but I could only take it so far with what they were willing to spend. What would you charge for a website like this??? Just curious. I have a hard time selling my work with my condition and usually just take what I can get.

I am also for hire if anybody likes what they see and could use a hand.

Thanks Kyle and thanks for noticing a small detail that can go along way. Your suggestions are spot on and something a lot of websites don’t do, but can benefit from.

I’m no writer, but know that continuous blog updates help with SEO, marketing, and sales, so I subscribed to CrowdContent.com. It’s a service that will write me a new blog post every week on the subject I want and 99% of the time, the articles are written professionally and on target. I highly recommend them.

    Just launched today:

    http://supsports.com

All the photos on the site were taken by the site’s owners – they love Stand Up Paddle boarding / Stand Up Surfing and so I really used their love of photographing everything as a key design element.

PS – I got the job because I bought one of their boards they really, really REALLY make the best stand up paddle and stand up surf boards.

I’ve had a chance to demo some other SUP boards since taking on the job – and also compared to my old board — they really have the product dialed.

And now their site reflects better the level of design and craftsmanship that goes into their products.

Digging the X theme — very impressed that even with the rev slider, big images etc. everything is loading pretty snappy.

Hi Jason – Thanks for sharing! I think you’re about 95% of the way there with the main feedback from my end being a few polish items such as the optin form. It’s a little washed out and easy to miss as your scrolling down the page. It’s also in a somewhat challenging spot as I think it would convert much better at the bottom of the page. If the main purpose of the website is getting people to call, the band at the bottom is nice and effective! As many people have some sort of call option built into their computer, one other option might be in adding the required markup to make the phone number autodial upon click…just a thought.

    Hi William – You bet!

Hi Supsports – It’s great to see people who are passionate about their hobbies…it adds a lot of extra TLC to the finished product. I noticed something a little glitchy as I was scrolling down the page with the background images on the content band. I also wanted to recommend compressing some of those big, beautiful images 🙂 Some of those are really large and will significantly increase the performance of the site after being compressed.

    Hi,

I used the Renew Demo Content. I really appreciate your guys template, it makes building a website more about the content without having to waste time on the coding, which is my weakness!

    Hi Jordan,

You’re most welcome…thanks for sharing that (and the site looks great). Nice to see some boxed one pagers. For those wondering, he’s using the Renew Stack.

    Cheers!
