You’re welcome, Paul!
Looking good guys! Glad we can help you learn along the way, Gugulethu. The page builder templates can definitely be real time savers. Thanks for sharing, Cameron!
July 25, 2014 at 4:57 pm #73583Hey guys, any feedback would be welcomed. This is actually the first website I’ve ever created. I’ve never learned html, CSS or knew anything about it. here it is http://www.krauseandkinsman.com
July 25, 2014 at 8:02 pm #73653Hey Adam,
Just wanted to let you know that you shared this above as well…not sure if you meant to double post it.
July 27, 2014 at 2:20 pm #74099Hey all …

July 27, 2014 at 5:35 pm #74133Here’s my new redesigned site: http://www.leaseguide.com
The old site was over 10 years old and badly needed updating. Using X Theme, the conversion was easier than I had anticipated. I tried not to get too radical or give it a totally new look as many of my visitors are regulars — didn’t want to shock them. However, as time goes on, I’ll introduce changes which, again, will be easy with X.
July 27, 2014 at 8:29 pm #74182Hello everyone!
Here’s my site: http://tesslula.com
Thanks to the flexibility and support offered by X, I was able to make my site looks just like I wanted!
I used X for my latest client as well and he absolutely loves it. As soon as it’s live, I’ll share it with everyone.Cheers,
Lourdes

July 28, 2014 at 9:55 am #74429My site is super simple. It’s my writing portfolio for school, but it’s effective and gets the job done. I’ve tried several themes and nothing got me to where X got me. I created all the graphics myself as well. So where you see shoes, yep those are mine..haha.
July 28, 2014 at 1:35 pm #74519@ Isaac – Absolutely incredible! I can tell a lot of time was spent putting that site together with each element lovingly looked after. Kuddos!
@ Albert – I’m happy we were able to help you revive a 10 year old site. In internet years that’s like 100 years 🙂 That is a great point about subtle changes. Many times design works best (on established sites) when small changes are made systematically. This is especially true if you have a steady stream of traffic and/or repeat visitors, so thanks for sharing that tip as it is a great one to remember.
@ Lourdes – Beautiful. Creative. Original. I could go on and on! That is also a really nice touch converting the optional widget area into a contact form. The eye is definitely drawn to click on that. Given that your work depends on people contacting you that is a great way to put a contact form front and center while doing it in a creative, modern sort of way. I noticed there is no link back to the home in your navigation. This may be your intention but thought I would pass it along nonetheless in case it was overlooked.
@ KHS – Really nicely done. I love how simple and to the point the videos are. It can be really hard in design to remove all the distractions, but you all have done a great job in that regard. One little point you may already be aware of, the menu on all sub pages is still the one page navigation menu, so links like TEAM and CONTACT don’t work. You can definitely set unique menus on a page by page basis so that will be an easy fix.
@ Liz – Thanks for sharing! Simple can definitely be effective, and we’re thrilled you’ve been able to bend X to your will 🙂 One thought would be to compress some of those images on your Showcase as they are a bit large. This should definitely help load the page content quicker. Love the creative Resume as well…definitely fits in with the overall feel of the site.
July 29, 2014 at 8:54 am #74846Kyle – Thanks. I will look into getting those images compressed.
July 29, 2014 at 10:49 am #74902Kyle, thank you for the kind words! I had so much fun designing my site, X is the only theme I will use for all my clients from now on. About the link back to the home page, I named it “welcome” and it takes you back to the slider. Thanks!
July 29, 2014 at 10:53 am #74904Hello everyone!
This is the first site I designed with X, it just went live this morning: http://christianadrianbrown.com
My client is over the moon with the finished product and I couldn’t be happier.Cheers!
Lourdes
P.S.: It was working on his site that inspired me to re-design my own site with X.July 29, 2014 at 12:20 pm #74933@Lourdes, just picked up the X theme yesterday and diving it right now for the first time.. Love the title effect with text animation.. How do you achieve this? Diving into it now so I will probably answer my own question. Great looking sites everyone!
July 29, 2014 at 3:42 pm #75029@Wayne, thank you! I used the revolution slider that comes with the theme and animated the layers separately.
July 29, 2014 at 4:41 pm #75063Hi X-theme friends!
Anyone here awesome at setting up and designing with the X-theme? Let me explain who I’m looking for:
I’d love to partner or hire someone who is great with efficient code HTML5, CSS, browser compatibility, on-site SEO, etc. I would like to create a handful of PSD designs this month and hand it over to someone to make it perfect in the X-theme. I love this theme, I’ve done a few client sites with it. I’m just not an expert at HTML5 and CSS, I keep finding myself doing in-line code when I know it could be done more efficiently. I’mPlease let me know if this sounds of interest to you or can direct me somewhere to find this great match!
Thanks!
