January 27, 2016 at 7:57 am #766831Hi there, I’ve been tinkering with my website for a while and feel I’m getting closer to something I’m happy with.
I would appreciate it if you could have a look and offer thoughts on how it could be improved. I’m sure there are plenty of things in the X theme that I have yet to use and wouldn’t be too difficult for a non-programmer to manage/implement.
The intention for the site is to be a simple and stylish window to showcase my work. I’m not a professional so no need to be pushing services or sales. Influences have been the themes over at square space.

Things I’m going to do:
Currently images are 2000px and <500kb, I’m looking to reduce that to 1500px and <300kb
I’m going to add a logo.Things I would like to sort out:
The blog loads up very slowly
If I add a sub menu they look like clunky bolt onsThanks for looking.
January 27, 2016 at 9:45 am #766998I’ve done two sites with X so far, with a third in the planning stages. Here’s the big one:
Looking forward to seeing how X evolves in the future.
January 27, 2016 at 10:22 am #767068Hi all!
Using Ethos, here’s mine for my website focusing on my illustrations, textile prints & bridal couture!
Still putting up new content and tweaking here and there but I’m finally happy with the direction it’s going. Looking forward to creating more with Cornerstone and the new extensions! So amazing.
January 27, 2016 at 4:51 pm #767709I actually started with the school template– but it ended up being quite different, LOL.
Also used Advanced Custom Fields and built my first custom templates for all the Class pages.
January 30, 2016 at 11:58 am #772119A website I made to promote a new software product called Modern Law.

January 31, 2016 at 12:52 pm #773180wow nice to see a full site using the X theme (simpleltc.com). It looks very nice! Some slider features could use a little tweaking but overall I think most of the site looks great. How did you get that nice looking form on the Trial page? Was that also through the X editor/plugin?
January 31, 2016 at 6:19 pm #773428We just launched http://socialbulls.ca last week and would love any feedback or issue anyone has on it.
