A simple, dark-themed site for a client.
December 15, 2015 at 8:56 am #707562The language is in Portuguese and was built using Integrity. It’s a database of all cruise line companies and their recruiting campaigns in Brazil, in order to help newhires and provide support for questions.
December 15, 2015 at 9:39 am #707636So, do you X folks have some great examples of X with focus on woocommerce? I am the lucky person to have sold a huge project for a new e-commerce site (bicycle store) and trying to find out if X is good enough for it. I know it is the best for websites, but when it comes to Woocommerce I doubt. The lack of functions like drop down ajax cart for instance is a big regret.

December 19, 2015 at 11:30 pm #714327Our site which went ‘live’ a few weeks ago. Hoping to create a peaceful ‘haven’ where people can immerse themselves for a while. Still some development to go. http://cicadabay.com/oliveskitchen/

December 21, 2015 at 11:52 am #716152Hi Lostimagination – Love the site! Thank you as well for the exceedingly kind words!
Hi Jessica – Continually a fan of your work! I like how you take a unique approach to each client while still giving them your personal touch. For example, I like how the copywriter’s site is primarily copy and not heavy on the design. Those subtleties really stand out, my friend! We look forward to the next sites!
Hi Stingfury – Absolutely beautiful end product – love the boxed layout! For most “corporate” type sites I think boxed is the way to go. It could very well just be personal preference but there is something about the contained nature of a boxed site that makes the information feel a bit easier to consume related to these types of sites. That was a well spent five tons of CSS as well 🙂
Hi Burntoffering – Congrats on seeing the project through! The scripty font is a bit hard on the eyes in a big chunk like that, so I would consider something more web friendly. Those are some beautiful locations you are filming!
Hi Gabriel – Lovely job! It is a purposeful design that is very inviting and easy on the eyes. Kudos, my friend! Looking forward to the next one!
Hi Chanuschak – Thanks for sharing your site with us – seems to be a great cause.
Hi Rescovedo – Thanks for sharing your site with us as well…it’s coming together nicely.
Hi Tim – Regretfully our showcase is not broken down by functionality like WooCommerce but there are several e-commerce sites in that list.
Hi Cds9482 – Very cool! Love the “bigness” of the site! One small tweak would be to consider adding a colored overlay with some opacity to it for some of the bands as the text is a bit hard to read at parts. Our next update should include some great native controls (new color picker with transparency and other cool options) to make this sort of thing even easier in X going forward.
Hi Rob – Cool sites! I think on the first one with just a bit more margin around the elements on the page, it would help the page to breathe a little easier. Feels a bit cramped to me, but I love the creativity that went into it…glad to also know you’re getting good use out of the new tools!
Hi HippoJeremy – I wasn’t able to see the content directly under the menu. It appears it isn’t loading (at least for me).
Hi Uspatriot55 – Love the sites! You’ve done a great job creating very unique presentations for each. Fight the good fight!
Hi Charliesa – Thanks for sharing your latest sites with us…The last one was a bit hard on the eyes with all of the colors and the multicolored menu. We look forward to continuing to work with you.
Hi Mike – Looking good…has a nice stock Integrity feel to it. The video is a nice touch presented in the way it is where it looks like you are walking around/into the room…makes you feel as though you are there.
Hi Rgboyle – Thank you for sharing…it’s coming together nicely. One small suggestion related to the autoplay of music. People generally don’t like visiting a site and having something forced played like that. I know it may change the impression you are trying to give but did want to just pass that on as food for thought. We’re excited to be along for the journey!
Hi Ryan – Very nice job! You’ll love some of the new header options forthcoming in our next big update 🙂
Just wanted to reiterate what a joy and privilege it is to work with such a talented and diverse community. We look forward to expanding that relationship as we enter 2016 and wish you and yours a very happy new year!
December 21, 2015 at 2:44 pm #716327Hi Kyle,
Many thanks for the thoughts about the music. We pondered over it for some time, knowing that the general rule is not to have sound. Our website isn’t meant to be an information source and not designed for people in a hurry. As mentioned in my post above we hope to create a peaceful ‘haven’ where people can immerse themselves for a while. Someone with a great deal of experience in web design said to us “It’s a blog. You can have music.” And someone who reviewed it said that without the music, it is like canoeing down a beautiful river but not being able to hear the swish of the oars, the lapping of the water or the sounds of the birds. Your comments have been noted, however, and greatly appreciated and we will try to assess whether or not we should disable the autoplay.
