Hi guys, I just finished a landing page that takes full advantage of the X theme’s section visibility options. As you resize your browser, you will see that the mobile (horizontal & Vertical) version of this website uses a completely different background image. I am really excited about this feature! http://www.worldofagape.com
November 15, 2015 at 4:20 pm #666180Here’s the site that I’ve been putting together with the help of X! It’s an educational non-profit permaculture farm and community in which I live and work. Enjoy:
Much thanks to the themeco team!
November 15, 2015 at 10:35 pm #666430Here is what I’ve put together using the Ethos stack for my new business I’m launching. I’ll still be tweaking it, but I’m happy with how it’s coming along.
November 16, 2015 at 9:51 am #667013My design with the X theme and Cornerstone on
http://slotsmillion-vr.de needed only 3 days to build this site πNovember 18, 2015 at 8:50 am #670039Hi Guys,
My apologies for such a delayed response. We held our Themeco Summit last week with a handful of customers from our community (was a blast) so getting back into the swing of things.
Hi Eric – Looking good! You’ve done a good job taking some of the standard features and tweaking them enough to give a customized look in the proper places. All our best to you and Becca!
Hi Damon B – Good stuff, my friend! Nice to see use of the Expanded Demos then tailored to your needs. One small thing for me was on the law site. The “Florida Law Connection” band felt a bit crowded to me vertically.
Hi William – Very cool, the site looks great and thanks for starting/sharing the Cornerstone resource site for others in the community! It was great to meet you last week at the Summit!!
Hi EWP123 – Nothing wrong with that π It’s got a nice stock Renew feel, and I think you’re off to a good start! Since you logo is effectively centered I might consider centering your navigation as well. That is a option in the Customizer.
Hi Mark – Fantastic! Thanks for sharing with us and the additional info on certain tools used. I know that is a popular question from people when they see some of incredible sites shared here, so thanks for adding that! Thrilled to know both you and your client are happy, and we look forward to seeing the next one!
Hi Dollar Flipper – Thanks for sharing your blog with us! It’s nice to see some more standard blogs in the mix. Cheers!
Hi TrixiiNYC – Thrilled to hear that you are enjoying your time with Cornerstone. There are a lot of exciting things in the works for that tool as we head into the new year!
Hi LikeStartup – Nice, clean site! Really cool idea as well. Keep us posted if you expand into other countries.
Hi FDDR – Very nice job! The site has a elegant, streamlined feel to it. Also an interesting idea as well for a site. One of my favorite authors is C.S. Lewis and he once said, “There are no ordinary people. You have never talked to a mere mortal.” Cheers, my friend!
Hi Emilia01 – A member of our team would be happy to assist in the main forum as this thread is devoted exclusively to sharing sites built with X. Many thanks!
Hi Justin – Great to hear from you again! As always the work looks nice, and a big thanks for the extra context on the project. We are humbled and honored to have you in the community and a big thanks for those encouraging words! Looking forward to the next one!
Hi Dana – Another stellar site, my friend! Big fans of your work and designer touches!
Hi Threeoten – Lovely site…very customized throughout! Everything works well together including color palette, photography, etc. It felt a bit laggy to me. I took a look at one of the images in the slider and it looked about average size, so if your images are as compressed as possible without losing detail, I might look into some other performance tweeks. There is an article on our Knowledge Base that might be of assistance. Update: After clicking around some more the site felt much peppier. It may have been a hangup on the initial load, but just wanted to pass that on.
Hi Carnivoreboar – Off to a good start, my friend! Happy to know you are enjoying your time with the theme.
Hi Pokerprinz – Love to hear that! I would add a little more spacing between the counter and text on this page, but I think you’re off to a good start
As always, a BIG thanks to everyone for their repeat business. This allows us to continue to develop and support X, Cornerstone, and the new services you’ll hear about soon!

November 18, 2015 at 3:04 pm #670580Hi guys.
I made this site http://goedkoopste-scooterverzekering.net
π
What do you think about this design, designed from skratch
November 18, 2015 at 3:36 pm #670612Hi Kyle,
great to have you back. I hope the Summit went well. Hopefully I can snag some big jobs to make the next one.
Thanks for the kind words regarding the site, the client is really please with the outcome.
But I am most intrigued about the new services coming soon. Can’t wait to hear what they are.
Is one of them a ‘like’ button for the forum? I have looked at some great sites that have been put up over the past few days and haven’t had a change to comment on them. Would be great if I could let people know that I have looked at their work I appreciate their efforts.
Regards
Justin
November 18, 2015 at 9:13 pm #670918Wow, that’s some great stuff!
Here’s the site me and my partner have been putting together. We have no web-development background, but thanks to X, it’s coming out pretty goood!
We do video production, and give away from template-based spokesperson videos for common businesses as well.
November 23, 2015 at 2:24 am #675647Thought I’d share, I love X theme!
This one is my own membership based business. Had to hack X apart something bad to build some of this lol
November 23, 2015 at 6:07 am #675844Hey Guys, I just bought the theme for our start up, I need to prepare the theme for our VC (venture capitalist) to review it for first round of capitalization. I am I’m urgently looking for a professional installation of the theme would some of the demo content specifically earmarked for HTML5 video as my site is heavily dependent on video content. I have tried most of the freelancer websites but their are very few people there who are familiar with this particular X theme template let alone have the expertise to install it competently to impress my VC. Anyone here who refers me to a competent guy who knows how to layout this steam and to extract itβs a maximum potential weβll derive a reward from me subsequent to the site being constructed.
Please send that recommendation to me at any of the following including here in the forum of course:

Hi Nick – Incredible job! You’ve really done some incredible work with the site. Love the pricing area although it is having some responsive issues as it looks like custom development.
Hi Justin – That’s a great idea. I’ll see if we can look into something like that. We’ll definitely be letting everyone know about the services very soon (most likely after the first of the year). We are very very excited about them!
Hi Suzanne – Looking good! I love how you’ve taken one of the Standard demos and really tailored it to your brand’s personality/style with a few custom touches to really finish it out.
Hi Dan – And we love you! That’s a great take on a more modern sales page. Simple, to the point, calls to action in the right place, nicely designed. Kudos, my friend!
Hi Michael – You can find a list of a few developers who are familiar with our theme here. Alternatively, you may find some people in the X Theme Users community group on Facebook, just keep in mind that is not run by Themeco and is rather managed by people in our community – lots of great folks there!
November 25, 2015 at 7:41 am #678900Fantastic idea. I have just migrated my site from squarespace to wordpress and have chosen X to be the theme. The theme is fantastic, but I am still new to it. Would be great if I can see how others leverage X for their website.
Here is my website – Jack Visuals , I am a photographer, designer from Hong Kong
http://jackvisuals.comNovember 26, 2015 at 10:11 am #680303November 27, 2015 at 5:09 pm #681755I started making my website before I did much reading on website design, and I’ve since read that it’s not a very good idea to do the black background thing. Decided not to change as I think it looks ok … interest in feedback from others … thanks.
