Thank you @kyle. How can I fix the container around the comment? Is it for all the pages or only the about page? Because I noticed that on the about page but don’t know how to fix it.
September 1, 2015 at 9:00 am #375618Hi Fish – Got it now, and yeah that is incredibly close to what the client wanted. Nice job!
Hi Nick – Looking good! I noticed the one featured headline “What we do” is a little smooshed above the 3 pictures below, but I think if you apply the spacing you have to the other headlines down the page to that one it will be great.
Hi Designbytrick – That is awesome to hear! It’s always nice to know you can take a product like X and re-create a loved design, and you’ve done a nice job…very clean.
Hi Mpieris – A member of our team would be happy to assist with that in our main forum.
September 1, 2015 at 5:14 pm #375983Hello all!
I’m very pleased to share a project I have been working on, which would not have been a possibility without X: http://www.oceandriveshopping.com. Understand that I am currently collecting information from businesses and adding them to the directory I created – they should all become visible on the 15th of this month! The downloadable map is also forthcoming.
Let me know your thoughts!
JoshSeptember 1, 2015 at 6:39 pm #376048Howdy Josh – thrilled to hear that, and you’ve done a nice job! It looks very elegant. One thing that stood out to me was the map section. It feels a bit empty with the graphic above the button (although it is a little avant garde as my eye is really drawn to the button so if that is a primary goal of your site – to click that button – it definitely draws attention).
September 1, 2015 at 7:39 pm #376088Hello again,
Here is the latest X Theme website I have put together.
Unfortunately all the best stuff can’t bee seen as it is a paid membership site for venues to sell charitable beer.
The highlights are
Different content is available for members
Top and bottom menu bars content changes depending on login status
There are 2 levels of membership, one level is barred from using the online store
Main navigation menu changes for logged in users
Redirect in place so members can’t accidentally register againThis site has more custom PHP and CSS than I have ever done. Thank goodness for cornerstone and allowing pages to be built quickly freeing up precious time for all the customisation.
The site has just gone live so now I have to speed it up and get it on Cloudfare. It is being announce to a million Australian’s on TV in a month!
Kyle, if you would like to have a look at the levels of users on the site and how the site changes, I will happy to provide the login details in a private post.
September 1, 2015 at 10:12 pm #376168Kyle, thanks for sharing your thoughts. Once I have finished the map that placeholder brochure is going to turn into a similar model, except with the actual map on it.
Cheers!
JoshSeptember 2, 2015 at 2:03 pm #376960Hey Justin – Incredible site! Wow…so many great things about it, and congrats on the big time publicity coming your way. Maybe if you get a second, you could take a couple screenshots of the member side of things and share them with everyone here?
You’re most welcome, Josh…sounds good!
September 3, 2015 at 5:29 pm #378289I am also really excited about Cornerstone – been using it only a few months and already in love. I have been making custom elements for clients who want custom features added to their site. It’s been a super smooth process to create custom elements, and I’m really excited about it.
Anyways, I created a website which I hope will get more attention in the community, and become a hub where a plethora of elements can be downloaded and added to Cornerstone. It’s called Cornerstone Library and it’s a collection of custom elements that the community has made for Cornerstone / Theme X. I hope you guys like it!
September 3, 2015 at 9:23 pm #378445Brilliant idea William!
I think that you should have a demo of each element available so we can see them in action.
Also, would there be a way to download them as a template file rather than a plugin? Even if it meant having associated text files to copy and paste?
I could see it being a little unwieldy if people download a dozen of them in the future as plugins.
But it is a great concept and I hope it goes well for you.
September 4, 2015 at 8:54 am #378907Hello X community!
The theme has been great. It helped me make my first website.
The forum was an awesome resource to help me customize it.
Thanks for the support!
September 4, 2015 at 3:21 pm #379203Howdy William – Cool idea 🙂 We’ve got some news to report on that front as we get closer to Cornerstone’s launch as a standalone plugin, but it’s always great to see people in the community take on their own projects. Glad to know you are enjoying your time with Cornerstone so much…we look forward to seeing you out at the Summit in a couple months!
Hi Andy – Very nice looking site, my friend! Clean, functional, and fast! I’m glad to know our team was able to help your first experience be an enjoyable one…that’s an incredible job especially for a first site. We look forward to continuing to work with you!
September 5, 2015 at 12:18 am #379397Thanks Kyle,
Couldn’t have done it without the X theme from Theme.co!
Looking forward to working more with X too!
September 5, 2015 at 11:21 am #379670I thought I’d share my personal site and business site first here. I’ve been enjoying X since we purchased our first license last year, and I’ve been putting X on client sites every chance I get. Nice job Theme Co!

September 5, 2015 at 3:24 pm #379796A site for my design tutorials. First wordpress site, also! It’s customized quite a bit, which may be why it’s a little slow to load. I’m still learning to optimize, but I hope you like it! And thank you for all of the help!
