August 26, 2015 at 12:10 pm #370237Hey Folks!
I’ve used the X theme on a couple sites, but started working with the local university continuing studies department to promote their online courses and certificates they are offering. The X theme is pretty much the best option for a site like theirs. So much flexibility!
Here is a link to their site: http://online.unbc.ca

AndrewAugust 26, 2015 at 1:02 pm #370286Hi all!
First of all: Great theme! As I have played around with a couple of themes earlier and this is by far the best theme for a webdesign rookie like me. Love the intuitive way Cornerstone is built up.
I have put together a simple one-page site to promote my girlfriends yoga studio for kids:
Det lille YogahusetFeedback (both positive and negative) is most welcome!

August 27, 2015 at 1:46 pm #371489Hi all,
My wife is a brand/PR/marketing type and I do some website work for friends when I’m not at my day-job building HR websites for a health care company. We co-built this site for a client of hers using Integrity as the base. The client is a former professor and therapist who now teaches/coaches on staff-faculty relationship management. We were able to do some customizations to reflect her updated visual identity elements plus utilize Revolution Slider, parallax, buttons, accordions, quotes, and custom headlines. We integrated Vimeo video, PayPal push-through on the buttons to buy the book, and a pending link to the client’s learning management system provider for her online course currently in post-production.
Feedback and CONSTRUCTIVE criticism welcomed.

I am near complete with this website to start accepting beta invites, though really I’m here to show my design with x theme. I would really appreciate your honest opinions on what you guys think on the design. Constructive criticism is more then welcome! 🙂
Thanks guys & girls,
CurtisAugust 30, 2015 at 4:22 pm #373763Just finished this site for a graphic designers who worked on some of the original Starwars movies.
This is what he requested: http://i58.tinypic.com/2ziv40p.jpg

FishAugust 30, 2015 at 7:21 pm #373828Great job delivering exactly what the client wanted!
If I can give one suggestion, I would say optimize the images as well as use a caching and minification plugin, such as WP Rocket, WP Super Cache or W3 Total Cache.
The reason I suggest this is because the page is a little bloated at 16.5mb and has a high number of requests processing.
Again great job on delivering what the client asked for! 🙂
Have a good one,

Thanks for the suggestion, your right, we still have a few things left before the launch date.
Thanks again,
FishAugust 31, 2015 at 7:27 pm #374954Hi Meo – Thanks for sharing your site with us! I think you’re off to a good start. The formatting feels a bit rough around the edges at parts (margin around text in widgets and that blue background for the headline), so I would start there
Hi Mpieris – Very clean and modern! Love the elegant simplicity of it all. Just a heads up but the container around the comments seems to not be working.
Hi Martin – Great concept for a site…I can definitely imagine it will never be finished with a topic like that 🙂 One would be if you like the fullwidth approach to bring it in a bit so it doesn’t feel quite as wide. I found as I was scrolling through the various pages it felt a bit stretched out to me. I like the color palette – works very well together. There may be something going on with your host as well…the site was very slow loading for me even after the initial load.
Howdy Steve – Happy to know that helped! Definitely think your continuing down the right path…a couple finer points I see that might be worth taking a look at would be the formatting around your optin/signup box. There currently is too much space around it with the size of the text that’s in there. It might also be cool to use the counter element for your stats then have the option in a fullwidth container below it and also at the bottom of your site on all pages. The blog featured images also feel a bit small which may be your intention, but I did want to pass that along as just a quick thought from when I browsed to that section. Keep it up, my friend! Looking forward to seeing the progress of your site and goals!
Hi Flyfennix – Cool site! It’s great to see demos repurposed with custom images and personalized tweaking…looking sharp and a big thanks for the repeat business! Glad to know you are enjoying your time with X 🙂
Hi Cody – LOVE the site! I think you’ve hit the nail on the head, and it’s a great way to showcase a podcast in a simple and elegant yet professional and modern sort of way. Nice job!
Hi Andrew – You’ve done some nice customizations, my friend! It’s great to see X powering more educational sites as well. The custom header is a nice touch. I noticed a few parts of the site link out to other sections designed with something else, so maybe you all are in the process of converting everything else?
Hi Ole – Many thanks for the kind words! I think you’ve done a nice job – streamlined and functional.
Hi William – If you make it back and provide the URL, we’d love to check it out!
Hi Terence – Another great site, my friend! Love the symmetry of it all (and the color palette).
Hi Curtis – Just awesome, buddy! Would love to know how the data backs out for options/conversions when it goes live. Nothing immediately jumps out to me except to say…make more sites 🙂
Hi Fish – Would love to see the site…looks like there is a issue with your stylesheet loading currently, but I’ll check back.
August 31, 2015 at 8:30 pm #374990@kyle. sorry making a few adjustment.. https://funnyscifitshirts.com

FishSeptember 1, 2015 at 3:30 am #375338Hi Kyle,
Thank you for the advice on the site. I have made a change or two, please have a quick look and let me know what you think. I seem to get quite carried away with the design but I hope this will be the final set up.
Thanks again. Much appreciated as always
September 1, 2015 at 5:20 am #375423I recently rebuilt our portfolio site in X. It is interesting to note that I was able to emulate the look feel of the original deprecated theme so closely that no one could tell the difference. X is truly extremely customisable!
