Hello there,
Let me start by saying that I love X.
I have used many themes before X, and a fair few of them I have paid a premium price for, but not one compares to the support that I have received from the X team.
Every question or query was met quickly and with a genuinely helpful response. There is so much choice with X; it’s honestly delightful.
After careful consideration, I opted to use the Icon stack. All of your support has helped me create Kawagishi for my beloved sensei.
You’ve helped make an 82 year old extremely happy, and because you’ve made him happy, you’ve made me forever happy!I cannot thank the X team enough.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
August 12, 2015 at 11:47 am #357273Everything Ravyre said above! This was my first time to use X and Cornerstone. In my spare time over the last month I have built a 50+ page site which nothing but positive feedback from the company and received a good 5 figures. I couldn’t have done it without your amazing product and team. Thank you tremendously for your amazing support.

I will be mapping the site in Japanese over the next month. Hopefully I won’t need to bother your support team too much this time around. Thanks again!
August 12, 2015 at 3:30 pm #357446Thanks for creating such a great theme! I’ve created my site using Ethos.
I created The Curated Travel to share the itineraries and photos from my travels. Ethos was the perfect theme to showcase this.
Thanks again.
August 13, 2015 at 3:52 am #358081Warm greetings from Africa!
I have created my site using X. Please keep in mind that i’m an absolute novice when it comes to this sort of thing. Please could you all have a look at my site and let me know what you think.
We offer safari trips to the Kruger Park in South Africa.
Thanks for any feedback

August 14, 2015 at 5:36 pm #359498Hi Joybram – I am in love with iamlove.nl 🙂 Really nice job on the design and presentation. I would definitely compress those images down as they are really big and slowing down the site. One of the smaller images I checked was over 1MB, so you’ll see much faster load times if those are compressed. Many thanks for sharing your site with us…looks awesome!
Hi Ravyre – Thank you very much for these kind words! The Themeco team is an incredible bunch to have the privilege to work with each and every day, and we are thrilled to know both you and your sensei are happy! The site really works well with the content, and I think Icon was the perfect choice! The only small thing I noticed (and this may be intentional) was that the spacing in the menu felt a bit off being so high. Unless that was the intended look, I think more vertically centering it would look great. The site is also blazing fast!
Hi Freedomdesign – That is quite the testimonial…thank-you very much for that! To know X/Cornerstone have allowed that kind of return for your business is just awesome! We look forward to working with you into the future, and thanks for sharing your work with is…it’s looking good!
Hi Thecuratedtravel – You’re most welcome! REALLY loving this site! I think you’ve captured many of the great features of the Ethos Stack and built a site that is just so inviting and clean. I especially like as you scroll down the home page – the big, prominent posts with the optin at bottom and use of the Content Dock as well. Lovely job!
Hi NickGuide – Greetings! The dark/yellow really work well with the lighter imagery, and the logo really stands out nicely as well! The intro text towards the top feels a little crowded and underwhelming in current presentation. Perhaps there would be some ways to play around with the presentation of that a bit. For your button text, I would also try to come up with another word besides “Click.” Give people something more active with the action you are prompting of them like “Learn About The _______” or “Check It Out” or “Wait Until You See This!” Hopefully this helps give a little feedback…thanks for sharing your work with us.
Hi Tom – That is some beautiful architecture and a wonderful site…so happy to know you are enjoying your time with X! You all have really taken the time to pay attention to the details throughout the site, and it shows!
August 15, 2015 at 6:05 am #359795I really like your site. Far be it for me to make a small suggestion, but I noticed your menu items feel a bit too high to me on desktop. If you feel like it, paste the following in Custom CSS and see if you like it!
#menu-x-demo-menu li { margin-top: 22px; margin-bottom: -40px; }
All the very best, David
August 15, 2015 at 12:49 pm #359998Hey David,
Who was that comment meant for?
August 16, 2015 at 1:29 pm #360599X has got to be the most amazing, custom theme that anyone can use for any website. I have about 15 licenses and I build ALL my sites using X. Check out a few.

August 16, 2015 at 10:30 pm #360822Hi everyone,
Sorry for my ignorance but I subscribed to this thread but when I click on a link from someone’s post that I receive via email such as this one from DonWattz, it doesn’t take me to his post and I can’t in fact find his post!! I can only find it when I looked for post in his account!

BenAugust 17, 2015 at 1:11 am #360892Hi Don – Wow! Coming all guns blazing and listing so many at once…nice job! I like how many of them have characteristics unique to the particular site. A big thanks for the repeat business and sharing your work with us. We look forward to continuing to work with you, my friend!
Hi Ben – I don’t think the issue is on your end. Sometime around page 70ish we stopped being able to link to individual replies on this particular topic (my suspicion is because it is due to the length of the topic at 100+ pages and growing). We are in the process of a redesign for the entire member area, so it is on our checklist to look into when we make the transition over to the new design. Cheers!
August 17, 2015 at 5:08 pm #361571I have to say that i am in love with X and Cornerstone. I have spent a lot of time trying out premium WP themes and X really blows the competition out of the water. I’m hoping that you guys take Cornerstone to another level by making it a stand alone, theme agnostic plugin. I accidentally tried it with the Twenty eleven the other day and noticed it worked partially.
Anyhoo, so far i have bought 3 licenses with a fourth and fifth in the works (on behalf of my clients). Cornerstone is a huge selling point since it simplifies page building so well (although for some there is a learning curve like anything out there). Ok, here are the 3 sites i’ve built with X and Cornerstone so far:
My own site:
http://visionmule.comHomestead Stove Company (which still has a lot of work in progress including the WooCommerce integration)
http://homesteadstove.comDa’ Hui Bar & Grill
http://dahui.barI’d love any feedback you have on the design or any other recommendations.
Keep it up Theme.co!
August 17, 2015 at 8:29 pm #361686Hi VisionMule – Thank-you very much for that! We have been thrilled at the initial response to Cornerstone and are very happy to report that some of the things you have suggested are actively in the works. Cornerstone has a bright future, and we’re excited to let our customers know how and what that looks like in the next few months.
Regarding feedback, the first two sites feel a bit text heavy at parts. Perhaps you could experiment with breaking it up into smaller chunks that are linked out to from the home. It’s great to have a prominent call to action at the bottom of the page like you do on the second site, and I would continue to spend some time on granular formatting such as text/button placement, borders, spacing, etc.
A big thanks as well for the repeat business and using X for all of your upcoming client sites. We greatly appreciate it and look forward to continuing to work with you!
August 18, 2015 at 9:12 am #362286Hi everyone,
X has been my first premium theme and it has been great. Although having a fairly basic wordpress knowledge 2 weeks ago since then I’ve made some big steps in developing my website. Still a load more to do, but if anyone fancies having a look go to;
Getting the grips of cornerstone and how it interacts with wordpress was a big step but now thats done I feel much more confident in it.
Would love to hear any comments or suggestions! Thanks
