I actually started developing this site right at the cusp of the switch to cornerstone. It is for a Houston area artist(bodypaint)
Having worked with x pre cornerstone and post cornerstone for me cornerstone has been more fun than anything else to work with
August 5, 2015 at 4:10 am #350550Just launched recently. I’m using the Renew stack.
http://www.financiallyalert.com
I already thought Visual Composer was a cool integration with X, but working in Cornerstone has been even better.
Kyle, you are a machine! How do you reply to so many threads and still manage an awesome company?!! 🙂
August 5, 2015 at 5:02 pm #351274Hi all http://shellysbookkeeping.com moved from joomla (ugh) to wordpress using x and integrity and loving it.
We’re in the process of migrating to cornerstone and refreshing pages and utilising some of the new elements as we go.
i love the new feature list and feature box element and would really like to use it much more (especially if later on we can add links to the icon/image and or the title, that would be sweet).were still working through some styling decisions so any input however harsh will be greatly valued
@joeunfiltered, love you clean site and the recent tweets widget (ive now added it to our news page as well)
Thanks the the Themco team for such a wonderful theme
August 6, 2015 at 1:37 am #351626@ Mikewolf1127 – Thanks for sharing your site…it’s looking good! I can tell you spent some time fine tuning some of the features. A big thanks for the repeat business, and I’m glad to know our incredible team have been able to help.
@ JacobMcfarland – Looking good! The color palette really stands out to me (and a good example of how the consistent use of the same palette throughout the site can really bring things together and give the entire site a unique look/feel). Now we just got to get that blog converted over to X 🙂
@ JoeUnfiltered – Very nice job, my friend! Really digging the entire thing. I also like that you’ve integrated extra functionality like Content Dock. The shades of gray and orange really work well together. Overall has a very professional yet modern/current look. Nice work!
@ Adamjgould2 – Thanks for sharing your site. If you are having any trouble on the mobile side of things, feel free to open a new thread, and a member of our team will be happy to take a look. In general, I like the direction you’re taking the site. One thing that did stand out to me was on this page the content was a bit hard to read. I’d add a white color overlay with some opacity so the image still shows through but the focus is more on the text.
@ Jeremymuse – Thanks for sharing your site. It has a clean, more corporate look to it. We’ve got to get your blog converted over to X as well 🙂
@ Beattitude56 – We are so happy to hear that! Many more exciting developments are underway with regards to X and Cornerstone, and we look forward to releasing them in the coming weeks and months. Thanks for sharing your recent work with us! We look forward to continuing to work with you.
@ Michael Hall – Love, love, love the site! And a very heartfelt thanks for your kind words 🙂 I love what I get to do and enjoy getting to know our customers a little better through this process. I can tell we have a lot in common, and it was great to read through some of your posts and content. You’ve done a really great job with the overall presentation of the site (love that it is a blog but presented in a nice, tailored manner) with really great content to boot! So often people stop at the design and forget the content is the most important part! One small little thing: I think if you moved those post type icons in front of each entry to be more like this demo that it would look really good. We look forward to continuing to work with you. Fight the good fight, brother!
@ Shellyhope – Hi Shelly! Thank you so much for the kind words! It doesn’t look like the link you sent is using X yet, so we’d love to see it when it does get switched over.
August 6, 2015 at 2:56 am #351684Ahahahah,
@kyle omg ive failed miserably and gave you the wrong url. not even the same company (or country were down under)
this is the correct one, we are definately 100% X and nearly 100% cornerstone LOL
August 6, 2015 at 12:22 pm #352086There we go! A couple small thoughts. The text in the TopBar feels a bit large to me. That area works best when the text is rather small and out of the way so people see it but don’t SEE it if you know what I mean 🙂 A couple of your sections could use some increased margin as the text is running close to the side of the browser window. Thanks for sharing your site with us, Shelly…we look forward to continuing to work with you.
August 6, 2015 at 2:57 pm #352198@kyle
Thanks for the feedback, i think your right
its amazing how you don’t notice these things when you see them every day (kinda like powerlines i guess)Cheers
August 6, 2015 at 3:48 pm #352240You’re most welcome!
August 6, 2015 at 7:01 pm #352358Hello Everyone!
I’ve been using X-Theme for over a year now for my own site, and quite a few client sites that I’ve built.
I’ve used Genesis and a couple other “frameworks” for WordPress, but have found X-Theme to be – by far – the most useful theme/framework for designing child themes.
Check out my current site, and let me know what you think!
August 6, 2015 at 9:17 pm #352465Hello everyone.
We thought we’d throw our logistics website into the mix in this thread http://www.learnaboutlogistics.com – uses the Renew Theme as the base.
We just recreated all our pages yesterday, moving from Visual Composer to Cornerstone. We are happy to report, we moved all pages over in one day and it all went very smoothly and was a very positive experience.
Really like Cornerstone and how it operates. Thanks!
August 7, 2015 at 5:17 am #352828Really nice theme! – Endless options to work with. Here is my website I created on X – integrity. http://www.creativeamit.com
August 7, 2015 at 7:48 am #352931Hi there,
I’ve been using the ICON stack to build my photography site. its not a site set up for business rather just as a vehicle for me to showcase my pictures.
Some of the text in the blogs and such still needs to be expanded/updated but I would appreciate feedback on the general layout and design. Clean and simple rules for me.
thanks
August 7, 2015 at 10:55 am #353006Another one finished – http://www.flackable.com
August 7, 2015 at 1:35 pm #353093@ Ag Web Design – The site looks beautiful, however I can’t seem to scroll on it. Are you seeing that on your end?
@ Learn About Logistics – Thanks a lot for sharing your site and insights! So thrilled to hear you were able to move everything over quickly and easily into Cornerstone. The site itself looks great…I’m a fan of the boxed layouts.
@ Amit – Nice job, my friend! Your work really shines through, and the whole thing looks great. A big thanks for the kind words as well.
@ Blasted – Thanks for sharing your site with us. The first thing that hits me on the home page is that it feels a bit bland…could use some other things to spice it up. The second thing is the formatting on interior pages as the text is jutted up agains the left hand side. If you need help addressing that, a member of our team would be happy to assist in the main forum. If you’re looking for ideas for inspiration, I would definitely check out our curated Showcase where you will find dozens of photography sites built with X.
@ Damon – Howdy…another great site, my friend! It has a clean, modern, and corporate feel. Many thanks for the repeat business. We look forward to continuing to work with you!
August 7, 2015 at 7:29 pm #353304Another Bada$$ site competed with X-Theme
