I bought a X licence earlier this year to make a client’s website: m4divulgacao.com.br.
It was my first contact “hands-on” with the X theme and I liked it so much that I ended buying another one for my own site. http://www.rovedajr.com
X is awesome!
July 28, 2015 at 3:36 pm #343372Hi everyone,
just completed a new website for new protein snacks that have been launched across Australia.
http://www.smartlivingnutrition.com.au/
Still loving cornerstone! On this site I decided to forgo the regular footer with widgets and created a block template that I could just put on the end of each page.
I think it is far nicer using Cornerstone for the footer rather than widgets.

I have added a Service Area page with links to each city. I am now creating a Service Area Map with icons. U need these icons to be able to link to the associated page but there’s no option for this. See:

and…

Your thoughts? Where do I make this request?
July 31, 2015 at 5:13 pm #346694Hi Jeremy – Thanks for sharing, it’s coming together nicely. It’s also great to start seeing some of the new Elements in there!
Hi ZerotoOne – Looking very nice! Very clean and professional with the right amount of modern touches. Love the use of the new animations. Thank you very much for the repeat business…we look forward to continuing to work with you!
Hi Rovedajr – That is awesome to hear! We greatly appreciate the sentiments and look forward to continuing to work with you!
Hi Justin – Love the playful tone on this latest site. As always, a big thanks for the repeat business!
Hi Bearzen – Just wanted to let you know that Justin can’t see your comments as that is only for our staff to view. Feel free to repost them without marking them as private if you’d like. I’m sure he’d appreciate the feedback.
Hi Edward – Sorry about that typo, but thanks for letting us know! Fixed 🙂
Hi Steve – I see you posted a similar comment in another thread, and that is a fine place to do it as our staff have a place to list various feature requests. We did have a quick chat about this one and feel this one is a bit too niche. You could add a link inside the little popup as most people would expect a popup when clicking a marker instead of the whole page changing. In a cluster with that many options, there’s no way to really know which one you just clicked on. With regards to feature requests going forward feel free to post them in the feedback and review thread (sticky) or in another thread where you are talking about the feature (this would be the better place to do it). Thanks, Steve!

August 2, 2015 at 5:41 pm #347918Hi Glouris – Looking good…thanks for sharing! I noticed the optin was left aligned at the bottom. You may be wanting it styled that way, but I think something more centered would look really good as well (with a little margin on top/bottom). The site also felt a bit sluggish to me – have you compressed images and setup any caching? If not, I’d look into doing that. Thanks again!
Hi Jessyhanley – Wow! Really creative implementation!! It’s always great to see more blog centric sites with X especially with some custom flare 🙂 I did notice a few pages still had some shortcode text on them – not sure if that is from the previous theme or that is part of the progress but just wanted to pass it along in case you weren’t aware. One very minor thing, but I’d probably try to vertically center that magnifying glass in the header nav. Thanks for sharing your work with us…we look forward to continuing to work together!
August 2, 2015 at 7:56 pm #347979I just put the finishing touches on my site with a lot of great support from the staff at ThemeCo.
Couple cool features-
1 – ‘Please View in Landscape Mode’ – My above masthead slider and my credits section do not look good when viewed on a small screen that is taller than it is wide. So I display a ‘Please view in Landscape Mode’ icon when these sections are viewed on a phone in portrait mode.
2 – Menus – I prefer a real menu to the hamburger menu on mobile. So since my menu doesn’t fit on smaller screens, I am displaying an alternate menu on desktop and phones. On phones in landscape mode where the text menu doesn’t fit, I show the alternate menu- an icon based version of the full text menu. And I hide the menu altogether on phones in portrait mode. To help navigation in this case, I show headings on each section.
3 – Slider Pause – I have the slider above the masthead pause when not being displayed. This helps relieve system resources on the client side. I did this because it seems that Safari on iPads is sensitive to overload due to large sliders.

August 3, 2015 at 5:32 pm #348978Hi there!
I am stoked to have my site up and running. It is a brochure site for a local financial planner (me). Bells and whistles include a tilt-shift time lapse and bio/character video.I have one problem. AND ITS A BIG ONE. It looks terrible on mobile. Any insights on how I can fix this?
Thanks for taking a look!
