Looking good! One of our team members is obsessed with cats, so he is especially liking this π
One thing I might tweak would be the size of the text in the dark bands. It feels a little off to have that text be smaller then the featured headline text below it. I would try making that text (in the dark band) larger then the text below to follow. For example, the “Build An Exotic Playground” being larger then “Promote Activity.”
I do feel the “Promote Activity” and headings like that are a good size how you have them if they didn’t have that darker band above them, so maybe just playing around with a couple other concepts for the dark bands and there presentation. All in all, the cleanness of the site is very nice. Thanks for sharing your work with us!

Site looks great! Nice work. Might I suggest that you change the color of your breadcrumbs so that you can see them? Right now they are white on a white background. Add this CSS your Child or Customizer:
.x-breadcrumb-wrap a, .x-breadcrumbs .delimiter {
color: #BF1300;

Thanks! I was still learning what some of the stuff was. I will implement that into the site.

Thanks!!!
July 23, 2015 at 2:52 pm #338569Looking good, Stan! The video presentation on this page is a nice touch. We look forward to continuing to work with you and your clients!
Hi Hunsford – Great site! Love the overall presentation and the contrasting call to action in the header. Type size looks great as well!
Hi Rockincolton – Thanks for sharing your site. I might try to format the images so they are the same size and look more like an even grid, but I think you’re off to a good start. Cheers!
Another great site, Steve! Very well thought out and executed!! Keep em coming, my friend π
Hi JSTheatre – It’s nice to see how you’ve taken parts of the demo content and reused them then added your own touches to personalize it – a great use of the demo content. Thanks for sharing your work with us! I noticed your TopBar text was also white and hard to read on the current background, so Steve’s suggestion would be great there as well.
What a cool site, Dwayne! Love the folksy, tailored approach to the design and “feel” of the page. Really drives home the content.
Off to a great start, Kaileen! I noticed the featured images on your blog weren’t pulling through. I guess you’re still working on that? I’d continue to fine tune some of the font sizes on your portfolio (feels a bit small currently). Thankfully with photography a big part of the process is creating a canvas for the photos to shine through as that is what people want to see. Thanks for sharing your site with us!
July 24, 2015 at 12:38 am #339026I know that I made the right choice with X-theme because the site successfully generates income as an informative Amazon Affiliate site and Google Adsense complements the Ethos theme and generates even more income (icing on the cake).
Thank you X-Theme
July 24, 2015 at 3:26 am #339156Here you go – used a bit of custom css to get it to exactly what I wanted. Site is US-centric at the moment, am now in the process of creating a UK version which will offer slightly different services. Both will run on a single WordPress Network install to share plugins, theme, etc. Uses Cloudflare and some tinkering to get full https, which is not really required, but am building all future sites to use https, in order to keep Google happy.
