Dana James MwangiParticipantHi @Kyle! Thanks! I’m gonna look into the homepage speed.

djbr22ParticipantHere’s my site, built with the Integrity theme. I absolutely love X-theme, I don’t think I could ever go back to another theme. Cornerstone is a game changer for me.

KyleKeymasterHi Djbr22 – Many thanks for the kind words, and thanks for sharing your site. Looks very clean and professional!
Hi Amitchangani – You’ve done some great fine tuning with Ethos…nice work!

VRAI MParticipantHi! I just overhauled our home page and would love to get feedback. I’ve been using ethos since it launched for our lifestyle magazine.
Thank you!

KyleKeymasterHi Vrai,
I love the idea of what you are trying to achieve here. It is a very creative idea and implementation. I think the one thing for me is that some of the background photos of the various sections almost felt like they were competing a bit with the post excerpts. It may be tough to get around that but might be possible with a gradient overlay over the background image so visitors get the idea that it is a fork/knife on the food section but the focus is on the content. You could also do the color overlay in the foundation color of the background image. So for instance on that food one a more beige color so it blended in with the “feel” of the photo while still showcasing the effect, and most importantly the content itself. Thanks for sharing your site with us!

dolcenParticipantPretty simple one-page built in WP & Cornerstone with X, as our platform (which the login/register buttons leads to) is built in Laravel.
Suggestions & ideas on the landing page are much welcome!
Thanks for a great theme.

VRAI MParticipantThanks Kyle for the feedback. You’re exactly right — trying to downplay the background image is something I need to work on so thank of the ideas on how to do that. Much appreciated!

Woohoo, finally done with my website. Really proud of it. Tried to keep it as clean as possible.July 9, 2015 at 12:35 pm #325793
JacobMcFarlandParticipantAlways like feed back, so here is what I have been working on, its not done yet! There isn’t much on the home page but more so on the books page and down from there. Let me know what you think. There are over 100 pages on this site so its been a bit of a struggle and on the Books page I struggled a bit making everything stay inline when screen sizes change.
