Mark WParticipantHey there,
In attempting to get Thrive Landing Pages to work on X theme, I made a pretty major error.
I was told to disable JQuery in functions.php. I commented “//” in front of the main line of code in this file – I was actually supposed to do this only on the line pertaining to the JQuery instruction apparently.
Anyway, I can’t access anything on my website now (I’m guessing those of you who know a bit more about coding than I do will be rolling your eyes at this point!).
I managed to click back and remove the “//” but it hasn’t changed anything. Is there any way to undo whatever I have done? My website is hosted with Bluehost. The website is http://www.paleocastle.com.
I have most certainly learned my lesson with regards to using the editor and promise not to do it again.
Any help would be hugely appreciated in this.
*EDIT* I solved this by contacting Bluehost who manually changed my theme to something else. I then went into my account files in Bluehost and changed the “functions.php” file back to what it was before I edited it. I then reactivated X theme and it’s working again. To find the appropriate “functions.php” I used the search bar in the top right. This is probably really newbie stuff, but maybe it can help someone.
Regards,

ThaiModeratorHi Mark,
I could see that your website is online.
Did you resolve the issue?
Thanks.

Mark WParticipantHi Thai, I’ve managed to get it back to something near what it was, apologies, was just about to update here. Thanks for the quick reply. I am now having issues in making the theme compatible with Thrive Landing Pages. Apparently the issue is that X theme runs it’s own JQuery instruction that’s overriding TLP. Is there a way I can solve this?
I can create a new thread if that would be better. & I have updated my original post with the solution that worked for me.
Thanks for any help!

DarshanaModeratorHi there,
It sounds like you might be having an issue with a third party plugin or script. Regretfully, we cannot provide support for third party plugins or scripts as our support policy in the sidebar states due to the fact that there is simply no way to account for all of the potential variables at play when using another developer’s plugin or script. Because of this, any questions you have regarding setup, integration, or troubleshooting any piece of functionality that is not native to X will need to be directed to the original developer.
Thank you for your understanding.
