You may add the following code at the end after this line:
add_filter( 'gettext', 'my_text_strings', 20, 3 );

function webmaster_code() { ?>

  REPLACE THIS WITH YOUR CODE

<?php }

add_action( 'wp_head', 'webmaster_code' );

Hi There,

Any reason why you would not use the file that you can simply drop on the public html of your installation so Developer Tools validates? It is a much simpler alternative I would say.
