    Hello guys,

I was trying some functions change, and then got this message:

Warning: require_once(framework/functions/global/debug.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/storage/2/f1/89/psicoenvolver/public_html/wp-content/themes/x-child/functions.php on line 35

Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required ‘framework/functions/global/debug.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/share/pear’) in /home/storage/2/f1/89/psicoenvolver/public_html/wp-content/themes/x-child/functions.php on line 35

I’ve uploaded a backup file but still showing that message… Need help! 🙁

Can you share the code you tried to use?

    Hello!

I tried the code hinting in this topic : https://community.theme.co/forums/topic/styling-for-recent-posts-integrity/

Then I received the error message, so I restored the “functions.php” I had, it still didn’t work . So I tried to create a new ” functions.php” as this topic : https://community.theme.co/forums/topic/edited-functions-php-and-now-my-site-is-blank/ and now I have that two error messages.

    Thank you!

    Hi There,

You have the parent functions.php file on the child theme. I did go ahead and replace that with the correct functions.php file. But now the site is throwing a different error, is there a chance you made a modification on the parent theme? Would you mind re-installing the parent theme? After all you need to manually update your theme as the automatic update won’t work on older version of x with the latest wp (4.5.x)

Let us know how it goes.

    Thanks.

    Hey Friech,

Thanks for the support, the problem was at WordPress version.
I’ve managed to reinstall WordPress and update php version. It’s all ok now! 🙂

    Best regards.
