    website is http://www.leadingedgeparenting.com

I have browsed old threads and cannot seem to find the problem…

I have one primary sidebar for the website but want to add a secondary sidebar for the shop and shop related pages.

I created a ‘shop’ sidebar and checked all the pages and posts that I want to display the shop sidebar.

I’ve emptied the cache, quit and restarted the browser but no matter what the shop widgets do not display.

    Please help!
    Many thanks

edited to add — here is the shop link: http://leadingedgeparenting.com/browse-shop/

you can see that the 5 links from the shop do not display the shop sidebar even though I’ve selected them on the sidebar page.

    Hi there,

    Thanks for writing in.

This is your shop page http://leadingedgeparenting.com/the-shop/, it’s what saved on your woocommerce setting.

This is just a standard http://leadingedgeparenting.com/browse-shop/ page, with the blank template. But since it’s icon stack, you may enable special sidebar by enabling this option https://www.dropbox.com/s/cw99q557zct5ai5/Icon%20Sidebar.jpg?dl=0

You can find that option when you edit your page.

    Thanks!

Thanks so much! Can you give more specific details about how to get to that option to enable special sidebar? I can’t seem to find the option when I edit the page.

    Thanks again

I also want to clarify — that the product category pages (shop subsets) are not displaying the proper sidebar either, and it’s not possible to edit the ‘page’ as they are categories.

    ex: http://leadingedgeparenting.com/product-category/mp3-bundle/

Thanks for the help, the piece I was missing that I figured out (by changing the names of the categories to 1__name so I could isolate where to locate them) is the categories were located under the taxonomies — I couldn’t seem to find them.

Hope someone else comes across this thread and finds it helpful!
